Taking into account the opinions of others and listeneing properly to their input will encourage a healthy team and also give the person involved control of whos and what input they would like in their support. Features of effective team performance, are having the team interacting and empowering each other through discussion and suggestion, this enables the team through meetings and every day events to put ideas forward and develop them to see what works and what does not, as some people believe that they way they do things is the only way which is not the case. There are several challenges’ that can form between developing and established teams, as everyone has their strengths but with that comes some allowable weakness. When these are identified it is my job to nurture strengths and set goals to overcome any weaknesses I do this through observation, meetings, supervision and appraisals. Also through ongoing course work to keep up to date with legislation and any changes to legislation to comply with CQC 3.
Training and reflection will have positive effects for both the service user and the service provider. Reflective practice helps staff analyse complicated situations and help them make the best resolution. Analysing situations allow staff members to choose the best option that will benefit service users the most, allowing the care of them to be superior. Reflective practice also helps improve staff members’ problem solving skills. This means that the care of the service users will be improved since the staff are able to solve problems quickly and effectively.
Once I recognize these strengths I can achieve success not only in college, but in my overall life. My top five themes in my Strengths Quest Insight Review came out to be Restorative, Includer, Consistency, Futuristic, and Achiever. All of my themes were correct however some of the information that was included in the summary is not necessarily true. Before I took the Strength Quest I was for the most part aware of my weaknesses but not so much aware of my strengths. Now that I have taken it I have a much better understanding of what theme
To improve my own knowledge is very important to me and I really enjoy learning new skills which can benefit my roles or future roles. In doing this I feel I am progressing in my career, keeping myself desirable to other employers and maximising my potential to do well within my career. 501 Use and develop systems that promote communication Shoaib Qurban 3. Be able to improve communication systems to support partnership working. It is common in this company that there are two co-ordinators elected to manage each area. It is important that the communication between the two colleagues is to a good level in order for work to be carried out properly and efficiently. The communication systems that are in place that promote this partnership working are very similar to the communication systems used to talk to other colleagues in the companies.

These collaborations learn from each experience, gaining knowledge and skills to address the next challenge or situation. Week 5 Motivation Plan In today’s business world, each business organization has a diverse workforce and each worker has specific motivations and emotions. An effective manager understands the challenges involved in creating a workplace that combines the employees’ motivations, satisfactions, and performance into a cohesive and effective workforce. A manager must develop a plan encompassing the employees’ motivation, satisfaction, and performance. It is essential that this plan encompasses the managers’ and employees’ perceptions. This will help to ensure a positive outcome for the plan.
There are so many intricacies involved in the process; nevertheless, people are the most important element in creating justice for all, regardless of social status, color of skin, English language barriers, and cultural background (Theoharis, 2009). My major focus as a SJL is to empower and cultivate in my DACC colleagues in the advising center a passion for our students. A deep understanding of our students needs is essential in order to cooperate, and work together with a heartfelt passion to build a strong community college that practices equity and accessibility. By building strong relationships with our students and their families we can create a climate of belonging. This framework was provided in chapter I by Theoharis (2009), and is essential in sifting out bad practices, attitudes, established rules and guidelines, racism, and discrimination.
