It can be a good thing as long as you can learn to not get upset over something someone has said. It is also a good thing because we do it to help our brain understand and categorize what we are seeing. It helps us process our information and program it. What are the negative aspects of stereotypes? * * I personally believe there are many negative aspects of stereotypes. I believe that some people can’t overcome certain situations, especially ones where they know they are being stereotyped. (Para.2) it’s hard not to start believing certain things when a lot of people are saying/doing it. A good example could be a picture I just saw on Facebook the other day. It was a woman full of tattoos, from neck down. The next picture was her in her nurse’s uniform, with all of the tattoos all covered up.
