This essay will explore the significance of IP education and how this will lead to successful IP working. It will focus on personal IP education and from personal practical experience in placements and reflect on how to improve IP collaboration in the future. Finally I will identify a barrier to IP working and what changes could be made to make IP working more effective. Since 2004 it has been a requirement that pre-registration health and social care students in England must receive IP education opportunities. The main objective for this is to guarantee students: “…learn with, from and about each other…to aid collaboration in practice” (CAIPE, 1997).

Is it guidance, evaluation, or praise? For this paper, the definition of feedback comes from Wiggins (2005), where feedback is useful information about what happened in light of a specific goal, or “information about what and was not accomplished, given a specific goal.” This paper will discuss how feedback can be used most effectively in its implementation. Excellence is attained by the cycle of model-practice-perform-feedback-perform, and (according to the Academic Leadership Online Journal, 2007) research has “found that when teachers effectively employ feedback procedures, they positively and often powerfully impact the achievement of their students.” The journal article goes on to note, “Academic feedback is more strongly and consistently related to achievement than any other teaching behavior…This relationship is consistent regardless of grade, socioeconomic status, race, or school setting…When feedback and corrective procedures are used, most students can attain the same level of achievement as the top 20% of students.” Feedback is an important component of the formative assessment process. Brookhart (2008), describes the power of formative feedback as a “double-barreled approach” (pg. 2).
In his opinion, college students should try to find evidence, investigate, and speculate differently about the material they have learned. “In other word college deals with the rational justification of belief” (Meiland). Also college professors should present and examine the basis of the material in order to give basic information to the students. He wants college students to keep
Framework for ethical decision making and transformational leadership in Higher Education Kenneth Hill Robert Deemer Dimension of Ethical Leadership 4/29/2013 Framework for ethical decisions making means the evaluations of intentions behind the decision making that produces ethical or unethical behavior. A code of ethics is commonly defined as ‘written, distinct and formal document which consists of moral standards used to guide employee or corporate behavior (Schwartz, 2001) In today’s education environment, leaders are asked to do more with fewer resources. It is up to ethical decision makers to move followers to accomplish more than what is expected of them.
