Although, I love going to temple at home and I love having Shabbat dinner with my family on Friday nights, Eisner is the one place where I am completely immersed in Judaism. Judaism is not only something to be studied; it is something to be lived. At Eisner, this is
I love all the shows they put and the dinners are great. I have never had much luck with the casinos but I still enjoy going. One casino was in a hotel and even had a great night club that we attended that night it was very down to earth and very friendly atmosphere. I will do this many years to come or at least till I finish school to open my own daycare center then I will have time to myself and really find out where my favorite
Emil the Sly Medic Another chilly December afternoon, my family was still absorbing the festivities of Christmas, preparing for New Year’s. I arrive at Uncle Mickey and Aunty Dot’s house, also known as Emil and Dorothy Hugo. Ever since they had retired, they have always been very supportive with my family, attending our sports activities as much as possible. We sat down and he offered me a can of guava juice as usual. His raspy, Pigeon accent and carefree mood comforts me as we settle down to watch the College Bowl Games.
Mexico, Home Sweet Home... Tequila, mariachis and tacos are regarded as symbols of our culture around the world. This has to do with the fact that we are cheerful by nature, and ideed passionate about partyng. As tipical Lating Americans, we greatly deeply enjoy dancing and music as well good food and good drinks in the company of our friends and family. I miss the noice of the roosters and birds in the morning when the sun is coming out. In mexico, I don't need an alarma clock because if I oversleep by seven o'clock, for sure at least one of the neighbors will play happy and loud music.
So I was a good boy from there on. I would always do my homework first thing after school and eat all of my vegetables at dinner. However I was always scared that the Boogeyman would one night just come up and take me away forever. So I made sure that I was extra good, I was going to flourish and become a better person. I noticed something bizarre though, that the more things I did to impress my mom, the more things she said about the Boogeyman.
We rode so many tall rides, fast rides, and because Katy is only 10, we rode small rides. Bethany and I went off on our own until lunch. I convinced her to go on some of the smaller roller coasters. At lunch we all met up and had lunch at Joe Cool Cafe; it was very colorful inside. After lunch I met up with my cousin Alan and three of his friends, so I could ride the big
After returning to Miami, my next 24 hours would be spent saying goodbye to all of my loved ones. My house is always used for entertaining guests so it is a no brainer that I would then proceed to have a party. The party would begin in the late afternoon around 5pm to celebrate my life and all of the pleasurable moments I have shared with those that have a special place in my heart. I would have a disco ball, strobe lights, balloons of all colors of the rainbow, a buffet of Haitian and Chinese food since they are my favorite, a dj, and a 3 tiered cake in order to thank everyone for being in my life whether it was all of it or just a short amount of time. The party would have no time limit, and would end only when the last person left my
We happen to always say it when he comes home on leave and when he has to leave right back out again. We have had so many great memories together but my favorite memory so far with him has to be going on picnics with him every other week during the summer. This is my favorite memory because it was a time where we could just let everything go and just focus on us at that point of time. Having him stationed so far away does at times have me sad, but knowing that I get to see him every other month makes my day because I always have something forward to look
Technology: A Drug That’s Hypnotizing Our Children Looking back at my childhood, I recall a lot of fond memories on how me and my friends use to play outside from dusk till dawn. As a child, we found every objects big or small very fascinating, and it would not only keep us out of mischief, but it also aloud us to communicate between friends for a great amount of time. Most days, we would spend our time making our own tree swings or having a picnic outside, escaping the hot son baking on our pale white skin. One day, we even ate snails covered in mud, which is a entre I would not recommend you to try. At the end of the day we would all go home: hot, sweaty and dirty as sunset approaches, but the smile on our faces were priceless and worth a thousand words which only emotions could explain.
My family and I had a wonderful time which made for many memories. When we first arrived to Disney it was like nothing I had ever seen. We stayed at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. It was a timeless beauty of the American frontier, with deer, rabbits, and ducks roaming free amid the pine and cypress forest. The Florida Gators were playing that day so after we dropped our luggage off at our cabin, my boyfriend and I went to Crockett’s tavern to watch the game.
