Caula Rogers Eng-105 English Composition 1 03/30/2014 Dr. Victoria Smith Impact of ADHD on a Child’s Schooling Children with ADHD generally have trouble in school, only because school causes many trials for children with ADHD. ADHD is not a learning disorder; however it can cause children to have problems with learning. Furthermore, children with ADHD have an excessive rate of learning disorders and will have problems with other school-work like calculation and following a long with his/her teacher during direct instructional time. But with enduring and an efficient plan, the child will be capable of succeeding in the classroom. ADHD negatively can affect a child’s social and emotional behavior and the ability to control them in a positive manner in a school environment.
Students do not realize that plagiarizing someone else’s work is actually stealing. The educational system does not teach this to students. The educational system should teach that you have to cite an author even if you just take their idea and do not use their exact words. The online companies that generate essays for students should be outlawed. This is making it where students that have a lot of money can easily get by with actually learning how to write correctly.
Gatto says that school diminishes creativity; if anything kids discover their hidden creativeness in class while at school. He also says that kids are not able to advance in higher learning. When clearly, kids are able to follow the teacher and be able to get A's while the subjects get more extreme. Gatto says, "teachers tend to blame the kids, as you might expect"(pg. 683) from personal experiences I can say that I have had great relationships with my teachers throughout elementary school and especially High school.
Payne states that impoverished students face inequality at school, insinuating that the school should be responsible for helping to provide for these students so that they can have a better education. Gorski sees that responsibility lies most likely with us, who can aid teachers in offering a hand, as they are underpaid and are not able to do much on their own. Sandra - Her artistic abilities were frustrated as a child by poor art instruction and a terrible fall which badly broke her arm. She felt stifled as a child by her parents' desires to fit into American culture and was judged for expressing her own needs or hopes. She grew disillusioned with American virtue after watching a drunk woman kiss her father. Her inability to express herself artistically or personally led to an eventual mental breakdown, which to her she believed she was moving backward through evolution and was losing her humanity and her culture. This loss of humanity symbolizes her loss of artistic inspiration and a sense of her own unique identity.
Everything academic revolves around the year-end state testing to the point that other subjects are usually neglected. Reading, math and writing are the main thrusts of schools, and are obviously important. However, critics state that children are not receiving well-rounded educations because of the emphasis on these subjects

The title in this article is helpful because it explains that kids in class just go through the motion but this article explains how she tries to get more students involved rather them just not raise there hand and not participate. B. The topic and issues of this article are that kids in school are not participating in class as much as they should and then they aren’t learning the material they are supposed to.
Lac is it good or the bad students. Many students would agree that it is bad for the student because it teaches them that when they grow up they should be unfair and unreasonable. They will do the same thing to other teens once they are adults, and adults and teens will forever be unhappy with each other. This would also make students lack intelligence because all that time they would be in LAC they could be learning their subject. It will also cause stress for the students because they will have a hard time learning there subject.
Devin Dufrene Essay 4 April 14, 2009 Failure Failure! Some students are afraid of it, Then again some students are given grades and passed anyway. Students should not be given grades and diplomas if they did not learn the necessary information and earn the grade. In this essay I will respond on how I agree with Mary Sherry in “In Praise of the F Word “on how students are hurt later in life First, if student doesn’t learn necessary information in high school he or she will not be able or having a lot off trouble in the after life with college or there new job. In example, if a student gets by in his English class not caring and not trying to learn, but his teacher likes the student so he passed him, when that student goes to college he will have trouble because he doesn’t know how to write a correct essay because he was given the grade.
Despite the benefits teachers and schools obtain, standardized testing like the FCAT is not effective in evaluating student’s performance because not all students learn at the same level, they fall under pressure, and they are being taught just for the test which prevents from learning skills that are yet to be learned. Admittedly, the FCAT brings benefits to
