“What was the last thing she saw?...Hatred. Just Hatred. Blind Hatred” Good afternoon students and teachers, the purpose of my speech today is to help and inform you, on how characterization has been used to enhance the meaning of the play, “The Property of the Clan” by Nick Enright and the movie “Mean Girls” directed by Mark Waters. The music is also a very dramatic like royalty had entered the grounds. From this scene alone, we can see how stuck up she is and how she is perceived to the boys.
