The Godfather I & II “The godfather” that’s by John E. Moscowitz, was successful in the way of how the scenes where shot. The viewer’s witness scenes where violence could be noticeable: Such as when Connie throws dishes, vases onto the ground after her husband is about to leave with the woman he is cheating on her with. Connie gets furious because she prepared food for him. She gets hit with a belt many times, after her husband going around the house chasing after her. Viewers can hear her scream, after each time she gets hit. Sonny gets shot while on his way to give Connie’s husband a beating for the second time. He gets a call from Connie that she was abused by her husband. The scene was shot in an angle; blood on Sonny was the most blood ever. Sonny was known for having a short temper. Most of the heads on other families wanted him dead. Black and white was used throughout the movie; Full color was used only for flashbacks. Lighting throughout the movie wasn’t perfect and not horrible. Characters could be seen well. When Vito was shot, the camera recorded at many different angles. Some guys get out of the car to chase Vito. Vito runs the opposite way. It moves along up to where he gets shot. The camera follows up to where he is shot many times at once. When the bad guys finish shooting the camera closes up to where veto is laying down. Characters in “The Godfather” and “The Godfather II” change throughout the movie, in the first the godfather he is needed for different things such as revenge and small jobs that men do for him. Many people ask Vito for favors on his daughter’s wedding. Vito never denies any type of favor because of her wedding. Another good example is Fredo; He is the main guy for taking orders from Vito. In the second movie, he betrays his whole family; He states it was because” They said there was something in it for me”. Fredo was trusted,
