Whether I have a round in the chamber or not. I do not like neglecting to have it with me when I go out because it’s like a part of my body is missing without it at my side. I think the policy of having soldiers carry their weapons with them wherever they go (besides the gym and showers) is a good idea. It helps a soldier remind him or herself that their weapon should always be near them. Forgetting or losing a weapon somewhere is a serious mistake.
As it was mentioned before, lost gear and not having full accountability can have minor or severe consequences. It’s important for each Marine to train with all their gear, so when they are in country, they know how to properly use everything they were issued. If a Marine is missing something during training, then it’s possible that he/she didn’t receive complete training due to their lack of gear retention. If that Marine didn’t properly train then his peers and fellow Marines will have to pick up the slack for him/her which
and a 2141 my job of keeping an AAV up and running is the most crucial part of Tracking. A mechanic can operate an AAV yes but if a mech doesn't keep his vehicles in working order then an 1833 can't do his job. i beleive i have what it takes to take my skills and pass them down to the upcoming mechanics that will be under me in the future. I have had a bad past especially in my current platoon. I've lied about things that i stongly regret and have had the reprecussions for.
Orders are called orders because that is exactly what they are, not suggestions. In the heat of battle, following orders saves lives. There is no time to think it through or suggest other options. Your sergeant gives an order and he expects it to be followed as well as when you might give an order to your subordinates. That is one reason why basic/boot seems so scary to some people because they know they will have a power struggle with the drill sergeants.
2.1 Dilemmas that may arise: • Equipment - Clients may refuse to use hoists and stand aids as they have had bad experience in the past with using them which could affect clients hygiene, physical needs and means that staff can’t do their job to a high standard we would take note of what the clients have said and ring the manager to come up with another solution. All equipment must be in date and checked regularly before use. • Training - Training must be up to date and if it isn’t you should not but yourself or clients at risk of danger. All cares should not attempt to do things outside of training or job
These officers took matters to a level they never should have considered let alone followed through with. The ethical decision in this dilemma was made by a third party individual, a cadet, who reported this incident. An alternative course of action in this case would have been to follow procedure and keeping their cameras on. Had this happened then all this mess would have been avoided and an individual wouldn’t have gotten hurt. Another alternative course of action would have been for the chief and department to answering the questions from the media instead of refusing to speak to them.
During this phase of training the Troopers were not allowed to wear spurs because this would only serve to compound their problems. Only when they were able to prove their ability to perform with their horse and saber were they awarded spurs The spur ride varies from unit to unit. However, there is one underlying
Maintain a good appearance is essential for all members of the armed forces, especially for the U.S. NAVY. It looks simple, and we should always be able to carry out this mission, no matter what. Not having just a simple thing like a belt makes us look uneven. By the simple fact of having forgotten belt, we could also forget send a message instead, and for not sending a message we could end up losing the lives of our shipmates, or even worse, lose the war. Having a uniform ready at all times will teach us discipline.
For example, if a person goes through extreme acts to make sure that they are always on time for work, regardless of the circumstances for the belief. For Deontology does not have an answer as to why a person goes to these extremes. Let alone have the ability to decide on this act as having any virtue at all. Also Deontology can be stymied when two or more duties conflict with one another, and in the case of wartime, this could be disastrous. For example a platoon of soldiers are ordered to clear out an enemy village of any and all hostile forces, but upon arrival the soldiers discover that the greater majority of the village are innocent non-combatants and if they were to do their duty to the letter, the potential harm that they could do to innocent civilians, would be in direct conflict with the Geneva Convention that began in 1864 and this conflict leads us to the final flaw in Deontology that I will be using for this paper, which is that Deontology does not concern itself with the welfare of
The Historical Importance of Being On Time In The Military The main reason for this essay is because I did not follow out proper orders and was not at the correct place of duty for accountability of my person on two consecutive occasions. Regardless of my reasons for absence, there is no excuse big enough or serious not to make it on time to formation or at minimum give a courtesy call to my chain of command. I want to be an excellent soldier and I want to excel in the military. 1st sergeant would no doubt call this repeated action laziness, irresponsibility, and un-leadership like qualities that of which have neither the right to stake a claim of existence within nor to continue residing in the army. However, as I may or may not have said before I'd like to stay and continue my rigorous journey up the treacherous road of leadership.
