The lessons learned from the shootings could fill volumes. The most important learning that can be gained from the tragedy is the importance of working together in a united effort to meet the needs of students, families, and communities under the most horrific of circumstances. In this case study analysis I will focus on three primary theories—differential association, social control, and anomie, and how they help us to understand the mentality of juveniles who commit acts of school violence such as the Columbine shootings. Mr. Rivaldo plays a significant role in running the Craddock Cup. The Craddock Cup is a 32-team soccer tournament for premier high school soccer teams. Mr. Rivaldo and the CYSL is trying to determine whether the tournament is successful in achieving its goal to generate at least $6,000 annually or if the tournament structure should be changed. Mr. Rivaldo has developed four strategies for improving the tournament.

The FIU Panthers football team is a part of the Shula Bowl every year against rivals FAU (Florida Atlantic University). The field they play at is “the cage” that’s painted with gold and blue. They also have NBA hall of famer, Framer Thomas as the head coach of the men’s basketball. FIU has a girl’s basketball team, volleyball team, softball team, and a soccer team. Sports Power Coach’s Interview For interview purposes, I chose the man that has the most influence on the varsity athletes at Camden High School. That man is Aaron Fiorini, the Head Football Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach for all sports throughout the school year at Camden High School. Aaron became a physical education teacher at Camden in 2005 and became the Head Coach in 2008. While he is the Varsity football coach, he also runs a mandatory overall strength and agilities session for all current athletes from 2:30 till 4pm every Sunday, Monday and Wednesday during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.
