This essay shows how people who are usually inactive improve their health and well-being by becoming even moderately active on a regular bases, how physical activity need not be strenuous to achieve health benefits, and how greater health benefits can be achieved by increasing the amount of physical activity. There are eleven different ways that regular physical activity improves health; here are a few of them: it reduces the risk of dying prematurely, reduces the risk of developing colon cancer, and it helps control weight. Regular physical activity helped me in that when I was playing football, I maintained a healthy weight and it didn’t fluctuate that much. As you can see regular physical activity helps people who will take the time, energy , and has the will to do it. Unfortunately, not everybody as has the time, energy, and will to do this. Physical activity has been giving our nation a serious problem. Physical activity poses a public health challenge for reducing the national burden of unnecessary illness and premature death. Fortunately, people have been starting to figure out that physical activity is good for the human body. People have started to figure out that they can select activities that they enjoy and that fit into their daily lives. Because the amount of activity is a function of duration, intensity, and frequency, the same amount of activity can be obtained in a longer sessions of moderately intense activities as in shorter sessions of more strenuous activities. Some examples of workouts that fit into our everyday lives are: wheeling self in wheelchair, raking leaves, shoveling snow, stair walking, walking, washing and waxing a car, and much more. Even though it might be too easy at first you should always start out doing something less intense for less time to avoid soreness and injury. People should consult a physician before
