It is important to keep a balance of the important things in one’s life otherwise, weaknesses can be developed that shadows over a person’s natural strength to prioritize. A balance of the important things in one’s life is what allows personal success to be achieved. Successfulness is the ability to seize new opportunities and explore new paths in life. Balance is the key to success because when there is balance in one’s life there is a cut back of stress, which makes room for the ability to thrive; and a person’s ability to thrive is what carries them to their personal success. To be successful is to understand what is important to you, to recognize your weaknesses without hiding behind them, to strive for balance as well as open new doors in life.

Relating this to education, this entails balancing school work, extracurricular activities, family, a holding a full-time job, finding importance in what I’m doing, and working hard to achieve the results expected. I will explore what personal responsibility means to me and what it means to my education and family and how I will achieve success. Time Management Time is very precious. Something that helps me get the most out of my time is to schedule my days a week at a time.
I also want to make sure that they understand that I have to spend the time needed to get my work done as effectively as possible. Being able to get my job done at work is very important to me. I do not want to slack off at work because of being so overloaded. My work also coordinates to the field of studies that I am taking so I want to make sure that the ideas and knowledge that I attain from school I use at work.
Thesis Statement: Personal Responsibility means taking individual accountability for one’s own action, whether in a negative or a positive manner. In doing so, you dictate the outcome of your actions, and only you will accept the consequences of the final result. Personal Responsibility defines who you are and it makes you better at decision making. It allows you to apply your inward skills needed to succeed in making life decisions. After retiring from the military, I decided to pursue my education so I could open more doors for career opportunities.
Therefore by identifying what you do not do so well you can determine your goals for addressing this. When applying for a graduate job you need to be aware of your talents, inclinations and skills so you can make good decisions, and can communicate clearly too potential employers. Employers will expect you to have assessed yourself and they will be assessing you – trying to discover your potential, the sort of contribution you might make to their organisation, the nature and range of your skills and how well you communicate. The aim of our self assessment during the training session today is to focus on our employability skills. Everybody has a range of skills – identifying them and being proud of them sets you on the path to career success.
I have become more studious and have placed a larger importance on my grades and how they impact my future. With the help from my guidance counselor thru the extra time my teachers take to help me when I’m struggling. I have realized my education is everything, being able to know things, will open my future. Bishop Noll is preparing me for college, to have a better future, and have a great career, to survive with using the knowledge obtained and the faith to carry on during the struggles in life. Graduating from Bishop Noll in 2017 is a goal I have to work for.
