Throughout my twelve years of school there have been four teachers that have really stood out to me, and I hope to impact my students’ lives as much as they have mine. When my mom and I moved to Franklin, she worked at Needham Elementary School. Miss Marchant was a first grade teacher there, and she is the very reason why I want to be an educator. Ironically, I never had Miss Marchant as a teacher. Instead, everyday after school I went to her room to help her do anything she needed.
I know that there is so much hard work I have to go through to get to that position though, but I’m already starting it. I have volunteered at the Staten Island University hospital for a year. I worked hard to get good grades into the Medical Program at school. Lucky for me those good grades paid off because I have been a certified medical assistant since I was 16. I am determined to obtain all of the experience and knowledge that it is required to get to where I want to be when I am older.
I have enjoyed a twenty-four year career of public service. I can recall countless of lives that I touched as a Paramedic. Two instances that touched my life while helping people were, the patient experiencing a diabetic coma after a drop on blood sugar, and the mother with no prenatal care that waited until the last minute to give me the honor of delivering her child. These patients were special to me and brought a great sense of accomplishment to my life. I first decided to become a nurse, because nurses are paid

The organizational policies are the guidelines associated with national legislation implemented by local authorities or independent organizations and these will also be applied to the case study. This essay is about a 76 year old lady within a respite setting. From now on she will be referred to as Martha to protect her identity as per Data Protection Act (1998). Martha suffers from some short term memory loss and has spent 5 weeks in hospital following a fall, before being transferred to respite. She has made good progress and has been assessed as being independent in all activities of daily living.
I can tell you because I was the one that they measured in grams. When you convert 3204 grams to pounds it becomes 7.06 pounds. I asked my mother if she smoked when she was pregnant with me and she said, “I haven’t smoked since I was a teenager long before you were born.” I did learn that my father smoked about a pack a day inside and outside the house. Luckily I was born with no health problems. I say I was lucky

Prior to this, Beth had lived in residential care since the age of twelve. Beth became known to social services due to being sexually abused by her father. Beth currently has a social worker whom she has been working with for the past two years. During one of their meetings, Beth mentioned that she felt that she did not have many friends and would like to meet new people. Beth’s social worker arranged for Beth to attend a day care centre, which Beth has been attending for the past eight weeks.
I liked to look at teachers when they were teaching in the class and day dreamed I would become a teacher one day too. In year 2001, I spent my time after PMR in hospital to take care of my grandmother. That was the first time I stayed in hospital and I saw how nurses and doctors were working. Those nurses impressed me a lot. Because of the event, I joined the Red Crescent society in school and learned some first aid skills.
