Those comments would need to be monitored as well as sending a reply to the person who made the comment to ensure that the customer knows that their comment is being taken seriously by the business. For example, if the nonprofit organization informs its staffs and volunteers about the time and date of an event via newsletter and there is something wrong with the newsletter, the organization might need to amend the newsletter and resend to the staffs and volunteers again which is a waste of time and energy. However, if the organization informs its staffs and volunteers through social media site, they would get immediate feedback and if there is an error in the information, the organization can simply delete it and repost again. Furthermore, the organization can answer simple queries very quickly and easily by using social media. It is a great benefit that the nonprofit organization can have conversations with the people in real time and it also saves time in the long run which would make the organization appear welcoming and open to new people who do not know about the nonprofit
The mission statement for facebook is probably a good approach to where facebook is now and will be in the future. The key to the situation is through the mission statement for facebook. (Pearce & Robinson, 2011) The mission of “facebook is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.” The statement is clear, short and to the point. Whereas, twitters mission statement is “To instantly connect people everywhere to what’s most important to them.” The statement made by twitter is rather vague and generic. Key Issues There is one element of facebook that we are aware of is that it is free to their users and they tract real time conversations like twitter.
Lastly, although online dating is fun, exciting, fast and easy some precautions should be used. When deciding to look for love on the internet it is best to go with the recommended websites such as the ones you may have to pay for. It is important because of safety issues; it gives security that everything is legit. Using social network sites such Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to find love is not a good idea. Zuckerberg made changes to modernize Facebook by creating a News Feed which gave us easier access to what people were doing. He improved Facebook even further by adding privacy settings and “within days students began emailing Zuckerberg to say that via News Feed they’d learned things that they would have never otherwise discovered through random surfing around
Besides, he mentions that he enjoyed the day, which internet was down one day couple years ago in his office as people left the offices and communicate with one another. I agree with the author when he states that social networking boosts our life in three different ways: information can be obtained instantly, updates from friends and family can be received, and professionals can be connected together. We can obtain information from social networking sites faster than we can imagine. With the aid of “share” button from social networking sites such as Facebook and “retweet” button from Twitter, information can be spread easily with just a few clicks. In the article “How Fast the News Spreads Through Social Media” Sheldon Levine shows an example that social networking spreads news fast.
Social media may increase confidence in making friends because they do not require interacting face-to-face. Another issue that proves social media are not making us anti-social is they reduce distant between people. By one click, recent news of friends could be easily acquired. Although in the absence of conversation, news about distant friends would be acquired by sharing of videos and photos. Besides, social media could allow communications anytime and anyplace even though people are not exist in the same place.

Dislike Button on Facebook One of the greatest evolutions of Facebook is the creation of the ‘Like’ button. With it, people could use it as a tool to provide support to another person’s thoughts and ideas instantaneously. However, the creation of the ‘Like’ button also lead to the debate that a ‘Dislike’ button should also be implemented, so the user can have the option to vote in favor, go against, or be neutral to the certain thought or idea. There are even a few Facebook pages exist for people trying to get a ‘Dislike’ button integrated alongside the ‘Like’ button (Abby, 2013). While implementing the ‘Dislike’ button seems pretty harmless to most of us, it could actually leave a negative impact on individuals, society and businesses.
