Social networking sites have become increasingly popular in recent years and have millions of members. By looking at social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace, we can see that one of the challenges social networks are facing today is privacy protection; moreover, this suggests that many of these sites are now working on improving their privacy measures. This is important because millions of people joined social networking sites to share pictures and videos with their friends, but many users feel that their personal details are being circulated far more widely than they would like. Research & Findings Research * I went on both Facebook and MySpace to look at their privacy policies. * I went on Northeastern University’s library website to find case studies regarding privacy for Facebook and MySpace.
