What is your opinion on the author’s view? An idea that Obama raised in the text was the victory of his presidency belongs to the people of America. His point of view on this was that he was giving glory to his country and also giving hope to American citizens that their voice will finally be heard. By giving all the glory away to American citizens, he gave them hope; hope that their voice had finally been heard "because they believed that this time must be different; that their voice could be that difference". But then when I listened to his speech, it didn't convince me. I don't think he demonstrated much leadership or responsibility of his own presidency. This makes him look like a week leader in my perspective. I feel a little empathetic towards Obama. He has probably put his heart and soul into his presidency. All in all, I think Obama has failed his fulfilments and lost America's respect. The
