This is another point towards poor leadership because there was no clear plan in how they were going to get their terms accepted only what terms they wanted. Another reason the rebellion failed was due to the lack of passion in the rebels. Not everyone knew what they were rebelling for which meant that they wouldn’t fight passionately for what they believed in. There was also a lack of focus because not everyone was fighting for the same cause. Some people were fighting because of the monasteries being dissolved and others were fighting because of rack-renting.
People resist change for several reasons. Some people resist change because of poor communication. The changes may not be communicated thoroughly or efficiently therefore leaving people confused and more inclined to resist; miscommunication can cause resistance. Fear of the unknown is also a reason to resist change. People may be scared to do something different because they don't know what the outcome will be; they are scared to take a chance or a risk.
The boys had all been shocked when Piggy had said that because he was the scapegoat of the novel. They didn't understand that they were all alone, that they might
This causes many issues with people and society. There becomes an unneeded amount of people on the streets. This is an ethical problem because the people who choose to be on the streets could be off of the streets but they choose to be lazy and unmotivated although they shouldn’t be because they can relieve themselves of the predicament they are in. This is ethically wrong because people shouldn’t be homeless by choice. It’s not okay because it causes more money to be wasted towards people that shouldn’t be helped at all.
We often find ourselves criticizing the way a message is presented and ignoring its content or value. We don’t like the message being “read” to us, we find the speaker lacking in experience, or we don’t care for the negative tone of the boss. Our listening focuses on delivery and approach.
So because of this rudeness it makes the Duvich family feel unwanted. So in order to have freedom you must be accepted. Lastly, to be free you must feel accepted. Since the Duvich family is marked as “untouchable” they are unable to do what they wish peacefully. “But the Duvitches were marked people.” (3) This prevented them to do what they wished peacefully because where ever they went they would be harassed by the town folk.
The author addresses the problem in the black community and brings up an idea of blind eyes to see recognize the problem and imagine for a better future. People are blind to see the real problem or intentions of others. Thus, there are betrayal and mistrust. However, many Brothers criticize the speech to be incorrect or unsatisfactory. They are bitter because the author didn’t say what he was required to say.
Imagine how angry someone would be if they were living in the same neighborhood of a criminal, unaware that they committed a crime. Public awareness has different forms. Currently, parents could title a section in the newspaper labeling what their child did. They also have the option of putting it on the news, so not that one or two people could see, but everybody could. Back during the Scarlett Letter, townspeople didn’t have that option due to the lack of technology.
With such hostility aimed at those who do read, others simply do not wish to be the victim of such negativity. Children today are much happier being accepted by their peers than they are expanding their own literary prowess. Consequently, we have a declining literary vocation in our own society. The pinnacle of this declination is starkly presented in Bradbury's novel. Troublingly, the bleak populist movement of today's youth against literature is frighteningly similar to that which led to the eventual total banishment of books in Fahrenheit 451.
I sometimes have a weakness in the fact that I may be too honest with my answer and do not think before answering. I realize that when you are communicating with people, they really do not want the truth because it hurts and is offensive. I find that it is much easier for me to communicate, when I have knowledge of the conversation being discussed. I am very weak when it comes to starting a conversation and leading the discussion. I will avoid a conversation as much as possible when I have to present the information to be discussed.
