One effective method for me is playing music while writing essays for English. I have found that this type of music is a fantastic way to become inspired and it aids in intellectual development. As a musician I have always gone to music when I am lacking inspiration and it has never failed me. Whenever I have an essay to write for English, the first thing I do is start up my music. Writing is not a challenging task for me but it does demand a certain imaginative spark that I find in music.
How music affects us is connected through our brains neurochemistry, our mental associations with the music, our culture, and our spirit, which are all mentioned in this scientific journey. Through this journey the writer perplexed me with scientific and musical vocabulary and redundant examples, but at the same time, I was fascinated with his description of the anatomy of the brain and why we enjoy the music we prefer listening to. I must admit that I had high expectations for this book because of my appreciation for music and what a significant role it plays in my life. However, when I began reading, I found the beginning of the book to be very abstruse. Knowing the definitions of pitch, timbre, meter and loudness, to name a few, do not help me enjoy music more than what I already do.
Burnside, the third characteristic that defines them as a Southern rock/blues band is their genuine love and respect for old Mississippi Delta Blues. The love can be heard in their album Hernando. “While I have always been a fan of bands who take the time to write good songs and make sure the album sounds good from a production standpoint, there's always something special about a band who makes it sound easy to some great rockers and The Allstars manage to inject all of their music with the same joyful abandon” (Homewood 1). Homewood says this because the production quality of the album isn’t an A+, but the band doesn’t seem to put production quality as a top priority; instead, the band simply loves playing their unique spin on Delta Blues music. I listen to music to enjoy the way it sounds. I listen to escape the daily annoyances and stresses of life and I also listen to music in an analytical way when I DJ. All three examples here target the sensuous plane, the expressive plane, and the sheerly musical plane. What a song! As a big Stevie Wonder fan, I was excited to hear this piece as a closing. The ensemble plays the piece gracefully from beginning to the end. I really enjoyed myself at this sponsored event as the music, the ambiance; the liveliness was a great combination. Music being played live should always be appreciated because the future is going downhill as far as appreciating true and live music.

“God Forgives, I don’t” only touches the surface of Ross’ fight to triumph. Whenever I need inspiration to keep advancing, playing Rozay’s “Hold Me Back” on repeat is necessary. A gritty ballad made in the brain of man that might not have much to his name expressing through it all never let someone or something hold you back from your ambitions. The only problem I have with the album is the predictability of beat selection. Although the beats chosen for the project was suitable for the occasion when being a genuine Rick Ross admirer you tend to appreciate what sounds he loves to utilize and producers he shops with to fulfill his needs.

I learned that these songs represented courtship, loss, and World War I. My favorite part of the event was having the opportunity to hear the songs and see the actual album covers. We should want to improve the intelligence of our nation. The greatest annuity that could be the most valuable effort to society is the accessibility to music. The fine arts are not just designated for those that want to become a professional musician or major in music. I studied music all throughout middle and high school, but am majoring in public relations. My understanding and experience of music has helped me excel in more than one particular subject field.
