Yes, this definitely sounds like how we use our music today. So, even though what we consider music has changed, the way we use it and what it means to us is still the
Music has made a huge influence on my life. Music helps express how people feel towards society, other people, and occurring events. There are many ways to enjoy music by listening to it, playing an instrument, and making it. If you’re interested in making music for a living then you should definitely choose it as a career. You need to be beyond prepared; you must have a lot of knowledge about music and also be smart and think about how you can relate to people (listeners) to your music.
My response is its art for the ears how can you not appreciate the many different styles and forms of music to deny one is just being closed minded to the beauty and the heart that went into the song or music. I may not like the style or agree with every artist views but I feel the need to at least give everyone’s music a try, never know what can happen. A new band or artist can become one of your favorites. The love that I have for music has surprised many of my close friends and family. They sometimes laugh at me for knowing certain songs that they would never expect for me to like.
That to me just makes rhythm much more significant to the ears and mind of the listener. What’s cool about rhythm is the fact that it can produced anyway, through singing, through humming, through striking instruments, etc. So as you can see, I choose rhythm from a list of fascinating elements, since it catches the listeners attention, as well as being highly important to music overall. In my perspective, without rhythm, music can still be produced and exist, although it would greatly struggle. A song can still be popular without a beat or rhythm; it would just need to have really good lyrics if it’s a song.
You could easily tell that the dynamics were well enforced during rehearsal because when they played there was great dynamic differences throughout the piece. They had a very warm tone even though it was a fast piece of music and warm tones are more associated with slow pieces, Each band tuned individually and as a group before they played each of their pieces so that most likely helped in the aspect of tone quality. Throughout the concert I noticed that each
In other words, it changes the mood of the film because if we would hear happy and relaxed music to the same scene we wouldn't be able to know that something dramatic will happen. This means that music always builds up to an important part of the scene. In other words, the music gives you clues because as it gets more intense you know that something will
If you open up your mind and absorb the melody, lyrics and rhythm of music. You might find that not only do you hear the music but you can listen. In doing so you quite possibly obtain that exact emotion you
Music concerts make it possible for musical and non-musical people in interacts and form part of the music making process. Secondly, music gives people a way of managing the relationship between people’s public and private emotional lives. Music helps people give shape and voice to emotions making their feelings seem richer and more convincing. Music helps words, images, body language and gestures be experienced more intensely which is evident when watching a film. A film’s music draws a person in while increasing the emotional experience at the same
Interdisciplinary/Disciplinary Discourse Music Music is not a language (Glover, Ward, 2004). It is a feeling that all people are born with and use to brighten the world around them or to lighten the stress within them. Every person may have a different reason why they enjoy listening to music but the majorities of people understand its art and marvel at its creativity. Music, as a discipline, represents a subject that concentrates on developing the musical aspect of a person; using techniques that can help shape their personality and demeanor. Music requires focus and practice in order to master its culture, which involves history of the discipline, history of the instruments, and improvisation.
Lyrics as well as background music, show people the artists true feelings and allow them to relate on a personal level. While some people may rely on older bands like the Beatles to get them through the day, others may go with hard rock bands or pop groups. In my opinion, we can find inspiration in any music. I personally like the music and lyrics of Skillet. To me, this artist has the most meaning in its lyrics.
