This precious book of love, this unbound lover, To beautify him only lacks a cover. The fish lives in the sea, and ’tis much pride For fair without the fair within to hide. That book in many’s eyes doth share the glory That in gold clasps locks in the golden story. So shall you share all that he doth possess By having him, making yourself no less. LADY CAPULET (to JULIET) What do you say?
Captain Huggy Face sailed the rainbow ocean waters in search of a perfect paradise for his people to visit, none the less he found an island at fifteen degrees West and ninety degrees South, right in the Northeast Pacific Ocean. The island seemed to be rich in fruit trees and fish in the coral reef. The fruit trees weren’t ordinary though because with just one bite one would have a new talent for a certain amount of time and each tree has a
The heady sensation stirred images of zealous summertime fun. If any person would close his eyes under the bright sunny rays and inhale the potent aroma, a smile would undeniably follow. This mesmerizing saltwater perfume could immediately put the disheartened mind into a delightful mood. While amiably strolling along, the ambience was overwhelmingly relaxing as the deep cobalt waters reflected the azure sky. The surrounding was merely breached by the breath taking horizon.
The spices used are for some of the wide varieties of seafood we have to offer. Fashion in Florida is nothing to gawk about, it ranges anywhere from thong bikinis to Elegant Evening gowns. Florida is known for both its “Sun Life” to its “Night Life.” The sun life so to speak, is going to the beach and riding the waves while basking in the hot Florida sun. People wearing their bathing suits and shorts, and sometimes even miniskirts and mid tops. Most all the clothing for beach goers are themed in such a way, they have pale to pastel colors and various textures.
Brighton through the Butler model EXPLORATION Dr Russell recommended especially that people try the water near Brighton, proclaiming that sea water was superior to those cures provided by inland spas. His ideas were widely acclaimed in England and abroad, and despite dispute regarding the best ways to use sea water, "few disputed its value". INVOLVEMENT The bathing machine was a device, popular in the 18th and 19th centuries, to allow people to change out of their usual clothes, possibly change into swimwear and then wade in the ocean at beaches. Coney Island's three big luxury hotels, the Manhattan Beach, Oriental and Brighton Beach were the epitome of a gracious and leisurely age, a unique expression of their era. They were long rambling wooden structures, 600 to 800 feet in length with deep verandas (porches) reaching down their entire length. They faced the sea but were set back by wide green lawns decorated with beds of geraniums and lobelias, and had broad curving walks. These gracious hotels became more and more popular with each day. Evening entertainment included music and fireworks.
It is a very different atmosphere than some of the popular islands where tourism has saturated their beauty. My family is native hawaiian in origin and Molokai is the island that we call home. I have always loved the fact that tourism has not touched this island. The island is not much different than it was 50 years ago. The people of Molokai
The dream may be different ranging depending on the individual taste of a person. Pushing my extreme bitterness aside for a moment or two, I must admit that I really liked that place. For all those people who are going to visit this place I recommend getting a suite. The suites are really wonderful since they have really fun jacuzzi tubs and big, fluffy beds.
Thankfully though Vivian comes through and gives Molly a room in her house. This is yet another example of a well written passage. Emotions of elation, and relief pour in as Molly finally has a place to call her own. A place she’s comfortable at with people she’s comfortable with, simple pleasures she hasn’t been able to enjoy for the majority of he life. The writing style reflects this, her room described in stunning detail, “facing the ocean”, “a light cotton curtain dances constantly in the breeze, sucked toward the screen and out again, billowing towards the sink, an amiable ghostly presence.” (258) An idealistic setting by any account.
One of the main things that draw people to the islands of Hawaii is the beauty and the weather. One of the main stereotypes that westerners have of Hawaii is the weather. They see Hawaii as a place with no seasons and a place where it is summer all year long. When westerners imagine the islands they think of a place that is always full of sunshine and warmth. Many imagine a place where they could go and get the perfect tans.
