Yevgen Pleshkan – My Personal Creativity Machine 1) Describe BRIEFLY and TRUTHFULLY your own Personal Creativity Machine (PCM). What is the systematic process you have used, and will use in future, to create imaginative, practical ideas & implement them? Be specific and concrete. Honestly, I have never considered any PCM to produce nice valuable creative thoughts. Now I clearly understand that I do not need one. My secret of creating something new is to listen to people who surround me, absorb as much information as possible, analyse it and produce creative ideas at the end of this process. There is no magic or secret out there. The main point is only find right information in a right time and place, from the right people. This process is spontaneous, but it will defiantly help me create something new, something special. So my creative machine is the energy from the people who inspire me, who want to give me something, who really want me share some part of their passion. One of the examples of such driving creativity machines is my parents. They always support me on every step that I have taken, on every mistake that I have made. They give me their wisdom, which turns into better understanding of the world and made me discover new and new horizons day after day. From my perspective, creativity is not always innovations; it is also the way how you understand any process and try to improve it. All solutions you came up with are the part of the phenomenon, which is called creativity. To be specific, idea of charity activity at my previous workplace was actually one of advices of my father about taking care of old people. Talking about the future, I will be definitely following my current strategy – listening, understanding and analysing information from the people for implementation improvements just right away.
