I think that the results of this test are not correct. I don't think that the results of this test represented me or my preference for people at all. I think the results mis read me and my love for all people. It's weird because society has put into peoples heads that white is good and black is bad. I don't believe this to be true.

Liberty University Mathematical Reform: Using Phi Delta Kappan Series EDUC 301 There is an issue of reform versus the basis. Reform is the improvement of something wrong or is corrupt. One thing that is corrupt is the American education system dealing in mathematics. The society has many questions on why students have problems in math rather than any other subject they take in school. Some questions that have risen are still needed answering by the many school districts in our nation especially dealing with the curricula of the mathematics courses and text books, and also and the districts investment in the school districts.
I do not feel I am good at mathematics, but I do enjoy trying to solve problems as long as there are no numbers involved. Based on the Richard Step strength and weakness aptitude test my top three strengths are: faith, visionary, and optimism. These strengths are defined as having a strong belief in a supernatural power, having powers of foresight, and expecting the best. I feel these top three strengths describe me well. I do have a strong belief that there is something out there connecting all of us, and I always try to look for the positive in every situation.
This allows for a more focused eye on subjects that will be on standardized tests like math and reading. This actually causes a less well-rounded education since teachers have to start teaching to the test. Teaching to test does not cause smarter kids, but instead causes kids to memorize certain parts of a subject while leaving out other subjects like music and art which induce creativity and independence of oneself. So instead of standardized testing, schools should make sure students have a more rounded education which will actually make the kids smarter than when drilling them for standardized tests. Individually these elements would not be as effective because a state could earn high test scores because of unequal spending per student, and vice versa. This is where the argument is the strongest, but there are, however, weaker parts of the argument. For example, the arguer does not touch on issues which also have implications on why the schools are preforming the way they are. In the paper he states as part of his argument, “think tanks rate sates on things like class size and teacher pay among other things.” He does not, however, touch on these differences which might be the reason why Utah is doing seemingly better than Florida. There are no statistics provided in the argument comparing class size, teacher pay, or socioeconomic conditions which may leave a reader wondering if other factors are to blame for Florida’s poor performance.
This is meant to stir up emotions in the reader because in comparison to what is actually happening, Hazel is so composed which makes the entire passage sadder. Green expresses this use of his tone when he writes, “I took a few breaths and went back to the page. ‘I can’t talk about our love story, so I will talk about math. I am not a mathematician, but I know this: there are infinite numbers between 0 and 1. There’s 0.1, 0.12 and 0.112 and an infinite collection of others,” and so on to continue with the use of this metaphor.
