Major Institutions Changes in the United States The world today is changing at a rapid pace. As the people in the United States changes, the laws that govern the citizens have to change. The United States government creates new laws and bills to pass in to law to protect the United States people. As the United States evolves the way the laws are structured has to change. In the United States today many changes are going on, three major institution changes in the United States are family, church, and school. Teachers have several responsibilities as a teacher to the students. Some responsibilities of each teacher are teaching the student, grading papers, make sure that the student understands what is being taught, making sure that the students have grades in the grade book. Each teacher is responsible for each student while at school or a school function, the teacher also has to get the student to understand that if needed the student can talk to them with confidence that they will not be telling anyone. Teachers are not teachers for the pay, most are teachers because they enjoy teaching children or they just love being around children. The pay is set on a set salary and paid once a month, some even get paid for the months they are not working. In 2002 the government created a new law called No Child Left Behind Act. This law was intended to regulate what children are taught, what tests are taken, the training that each teacher has to take, as well as the money that each school gets and what the school is allowed to spend the money on. This law was also meant to help keep students on track and keep them moving up and being able to graduate. Each student is different in how they need to be taught so the government created this law to help with that issue. If the United States does not change then nothing with the government will improve with how laws are handled. In order to keep protecting the people of the United States current laws and even new laws have to be modified or created to help keep order within the citizens. At times people will disagree with the change of a law or the creation of a new law, when this happens sometimes a riot may happen. Letters to the congress men and women are sent with a lot of signatures from others is included to show that, that person is not the only one that disagrees with the law. The government sees a need to evolve and change the way the laws are due to evolution. If the laws are not modified or created then people could get away with something that could cause someone else harm. Today the government needs to step it up a notch and get new laws put into place to help bring peace and safety back to the United
