To examine these two separate areas of criminal justice they will be broken down to see how each one is structured and the primary goals for each one. Government and private security can be used to describe the methods that we use in the world to keep people and their goods safe. Each of these two entities, however has distinct differences and similarities that can be compared to determine the benefit and drawback of each type of security.
