In my educated opinion, I do not think the author is incorrect or false in any of his conclusions. If I had to see one other thing addressed, it would be to discuss more of the apple shortages in other areas around the world such as New York and Michigan. I think the article would be better if it talked about how the lack of apples has affected the economies of other areas. Wal-Mart does not care about the American economy because they are thriving the way the economy is now, so American citizens have to stand up for their communities. But, for businesses that sale gin, the production of gin would decrease and those businesses would make no profit. More commonly, individuals would argue against the restriction of gin when dealing with the economy. This is because with the Stamp Act, which put a tax on receipts from a variety of commodities, went against the colonial policy of “no taxation without representation.” The Navigation Laws, they limited colonial trade to only British territories. This only would help Britain because they would have a market to sell their goods. This could have potentially crashed the colonial economy because they did a lot of trading with France and Spain along with other countries. The Townshend Acts were similar to the Stamp Act but they taxed different items, and they were put in place after the tax was repealed.

What outrages you? Judging people and prejudice outrages me most. Not only prejudice pertaining to ethnic background, but also prejudice in the way of being smaller is better, nerds are loser and etc. I cannot stand to see another person being picked on because of the way they look or act. I believe that no one has the right to judge the person on the right or to the left of you.
Ban the Arizona Immigration Law The law I propose is to have the Arizona Immigration Law banned and repelled. Illegal immigrants come to the United States for the good life and start fresh, but thinking about it more and more illegal immigrants are going to fill the United States without even knowing the laws or language, which is why we need to ban the Arizona Law. This law is needed because it subjects plenty of ethnic groups and races to public discrimination and racism, which violates the rights of citizens (Americanized citizens).
