Should professor teach the students in college or students should know the information by themselves? All students should be required to take the mandatory composition class in college. Because many professors want students’ to attend all their classes so they can teach them directly. However many students want to be given the freedom to decide which classes to attend.
Mandatory classes are used to set a basic system and to set standard classes for everyone, since everyone must learn the same things such as math, reading, and science. Indeed all these are important subjects that should be known, and skills that will be used throughout one’s life. But most people are not going to be using Pre-calculus, English Literature 4, Physics, or European History. It is a complete waste of time to have students struggle through a class that has nothing to do with their desired career. Yes classes should be mandatory, but to a certain extent; it should only be that a student has to take the basic core classes and then after decide what they want to study.

A unique way of text messaging on a phone is that the text message can be quickly transmitted to another person without taking up a large amount of time. Text messaging is also private. People will not be able to eavesdrop on the conversation. However, text messaging has been a major problem with students texting in class interfering with the disruption of their learning.

The thesis of Mary Sherry’s essay is that teachers and parents need to take further action to help their students earn their diplomas. The main points Sherry expresses in her essay are that students barely have any motivation to focus in school, how students are not satisfied with their academic skills, and ways that teachers can get their students to study. The liberal education lets students learn about their history and other nations history, also it can benefit not only students but help the whole society by participating in democracy and make them capable of distinguishing the public and the private interest. Final exams are a time of stress for students to worry about if they can recall all the lessons that their professors have went over within that semester. Students who are scarcely passing any of their classes need their final exams to be passing grades, so they tend to study a little harder. Finals also allow students to see how all the lessons they have learned connect through small facts. Identifying and understanding thoroughly everything the professor particularly emphasizes in class can be a hard and tough experience when preparing to study for finals. In Joy Alonso’s “Two Cheers for Examination “she uses examinations to examine the purposes and useless of exams in two and four year colleges to appear to students and teachers.
Their perspective on how the underachieved educational system is, alongside my encounters with complex of schooling. In high school, we are given many standards every day that we must meet in order to be considered successful, but the reality is; these standards are fruitless in expectation for colleges and universities. In high school I did not get the English composition skills, to prepare me for my college courses. They are right about their belief that the professors in the universities are very inspired in some ways to give their standards to the students in depth knowledge to set higher standards, however, it is not good to know that some high school students still enter Americas elite schools through remedial process, because it might agitate the worldwide standards set by the school
