In some parts of my country, I believe culture still exists and is taken seriously. The sociobiology approach of culture explores how the history of evolution has shaped pattern of cultures in today’s world. I believe that social interactions play a huge role in the formation of identity. Having an identity is very important. It gives a person stability in a world where everything seems to be continually changing.
A study has done by Daes (1996) states that Australia indigenous people had spoken by more than 250 languages. Most of them were come from many European countries. Many of languages already have extinct. Now a day, about fifteen languages still being spoken by Australian aboriginal but English is become now main language among them. In addition, aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are living in main cities, regional, remote, and very remote area.
The Azande, by Holly Peters-Golden The people known as the Azande are a melding together of what were separate clans in the past. They live primarily in the northeastern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in southwestern Sudan, and in the southeastern Central African Republic. The Congolese Azande live in Orientale Province, specifically along the Uele River; and the Central African Azande live in the districts of Rafaï, Zémio, and Obo. The Azande speak Zande, which they call Pazande in their language. Zande is an Adamawa-Ubangi language.
As well as many other religions/likewise, traditional religions belong to those, whom practicing and celebrating life-cycle rituals play an essential role throughout the one’s life. In Africa; for example, the most popular yet well-known rituals such as, birth, coming of age, marriage, and death in general concepts are reasonably extensive between each other. First, the native African civilizations and their pattern of performing life-cycle practices are frequently initiated as some type of contributions to the familial/ancestral spirits. These offered gifts are a combination of food such as pumpkins, honey, and yams, with different beverages; for example, water or something stronger left at the worship places “… taken out and poured over the ancestral, burial ground” (Sinaiko, xli). Therefore, birth as a first ritual plays an important part, and shortly after birth, it is crucial to name a newborn baby.
The Choctaw Indians once lay claim to millions of acres of land and established some 50 towns in present-day Mississippi and western Alabama. With a population of at least 15,000 by the turn of the nineteenth century, the Choctaws were one of the largest Indian groups in the South and played a significant role in shaping the politics, economics, and armed conflicts in the region. Thousands of Choctaws remained in the Southeast even after removal and are known today as the federally-recognized Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and the state-recognized MOWA (Mobile and Washington County) Choctaws of Alabama. Other Choctaw people live in the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, in Choctaw communities in Texas and Tennessee, and as families or individuals throughout the United States. The peoples who became known as the Choctaws (they call themselves Chahtas) originally lived as separate societies throughout east-central Mississippi and west-central Alabama and all spoke dialects of the Muskogean language.
They originated in Northern and were considered to be the earlier inhabitants of the land. Their name was derived from the large amount of mounds that were built throughout America. The mounds people were primarily located east of the Mississippi river in states such as Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee, and also in the Cumberland area that consisted of the Great Lakes region and the Atlantic cost. The largest majority of these mounds were located in the Mississippi and Ohio valleys. Various types of societies, ranging from sedentary farmers to mobile hunter-gatherers, built these mounds over a long period of time.
Land British Columbia has two main regions the coast and the Interior. The Lower mainland is dominated by the metropolitan Vancouver, which contains almost 50% of the population of the province(3). Community Corpus Christi is a coastal city in the South Texas region of the U.S. part of Nueces County. According to the U.S. Census bureau, there are 442,600 inhabitants living here. The majority of the residence living in Corpus Christi is a white population (80.9%). Hispanics are the second largest group living here at 54.3%, which is much higher number compared to the rest of Texas.
