If there were no enemy, what would this mean for any society, including that of Animal Farm? In the novel “ Animal Farm ” by George Orwell, the animals of the farm kick out the owner, Mr. Jones, and pick the leader. The leader dictates the farm, do whatever they want to do, their 7 commandments starts to change as the time goes. They fight each other, blame each other, and even kill each other. This is the original story. But let’s say that there were no enemies at all, what would happen? Not only in Animal Farm, but also in any society. They will not have a person to compete with, they will not be able to evolve, and they will not be able to consider what is right or wrong. If there is no one to compete with, they will not be able to develop. Not the society, but their personalities or relationships with people. When people compete with each other, they mostly care about their enemy’s actions. They will do the similar thing if their enemy got great reputations from one action. But on the other hand, if their enemy got into trouble or got ignored from their actions or ideas, they will turn that idea into theirs and give it a little bit of change only to gain the popularity. But if there were no enemies, there will be one simple idea that can not develop which might be good or bad. Limitation of an idea or a development can lead the society into boring, plain place to live in. As mentioned in the second paragraph, there will not be ideas resisting, and it could lead to limitation of development. All the technologies, and designs for everything came from one’s idea and developed as the time passed. What would happen if there were no ideas resisting, or has one simple idea that can not be developed. There would be no more I-pods, cell phones, or even cars. Even if they do, it will be simple, old – styled products that people would not prefer to buy. Finally,
