To be successful in anything requires a lot of hard work and dedication. To many, success seems to come suddenly. When you observe others and what they have achieved you usually don’t appreciate what it has taken for them to get where they are.
They also must have the authority in order command these ideas in to action. And finally they must have the strategic direction so he can implement these ideas and put the actions together so they can produce an outcome. However, even with these four traits it is not enough to be an effective leader. Great leaders have additional qualities one of them is showing their followers that they are human and have weaknesses. This is very important because no one want to work for a person who is seemingly perfect.
This is also a contradiction in the same sense. Gladwell needs to decide if success is based off of the factors we cannot control such as financial situations and heritage, or if success is based off of controllable factors such as passion and dedication. I am going to go with the latter. Of course, it is more difficult to become a success if one is born in a lower-class; however being in a lower-class gives a person much more incentive to work hard for a better life. Gladwell points out that most success stories are alike.
Inspiration is important because it’s good to influence people to do what’s right, like exercising daily. Heroes can’t be uninspiring because they need to motivate others to achieve something worthy. So what defines a hero to me? Someone with a lot of courage and inspiration that doesn’t let things get in their way when trying to help others. Being brave and inspiring is very important to our society because there needs to be heroes out in the world influencing others to do the same, like help others and inspire people to do what’s good.
We should always try to be the best at work, at school, and personally. Our society needs not only successful people but also people with integrity and values. We are not here to criticize or envy people with success, but we are here to appreciate their work and take it as an inspiration for high achievers. 2. Am I burned out?

Being committed is a source to success. If a team member is absent and never shows up then they cannot be considered faithful to the team. A team is a good team as long as everyone has the same mission in mind.
In the video, Ms. Winfrey discussed the ideas of not only acting like a nice person, but actually being nice to others. She also talked about hard work and as well as believing in yourself. She said that actually being a nice person to people that you are around allows you to easily work with others around you in order to obtain the things you need and to create a good perception of yourself. It’s important for others to know of your nice spirit because it reflects well upon you and makes it easier for you to get things done. Hard work goes along with dedication and sticking to your plan in order for you to eventually achieve success.
