There are small ones were everybody seems to know each other, and then there are the big ones where you have no clue who the person is sitting next to you is. Well the Mayo Clinic is one of those hospitals and it just happens that the Mayo Clinic has saved my life and will always be an important place to me from this day, till the day I take my last breath. The Mayo Clinic is one of the most fascinating places I have been to in my life. The structure and interior designs of all the buildings are just breath taking. From the huge granite staircase leading to the main lobby, to the glistening wall that is covered with sponsors and people that help make the Mayo Clinic the way it is. When I walked into the middle of the Gonda Building and just looked around I got the goose bumps. It doesn’t even feel like you’re in a hospital. Also the Mayo isn’t just my place, it is many other people’s place too, but I am so thankful to be able to call it my place, because it changed my life drastically, and made it a lot better. When I went there I thought I had it tough, but then I just took a second and looked around a realized that my problems were nothing compared to some families and individuals. Later on in my life I would like to return to the Mayo Clinic to and reflect, and observe any advancements that it has added. I plan to tell my children what happened to me and show them where I had to go for my appointments and other meetings. I know for a fact that when I return there, the atmosphere will be no different at all. I picture walking into the Gonda Building and hearing the laughter of families, and beautiful music talents of the people playing the grand
