Violating a person in such a way is horrible, cruel and it can lead to severe physiological problems of the victim. Rape is not beneficial to society and it is not agreed upon by both parties, but instead forced upon on the one not in agreement. Rape is not only with women, but also with children and men. There are those who specifically target women because they know they can overpower them if they need to in order to get their way. Children or minors may lack the judgment needed for valid consent.
Regular humans have a hard time comprehending the physiological, sociological, and anthropological mindset of these killers. As culture humans have overlooked serial killers, grouping them with social rejects and the mentally insane. This is perhaps why they try to attract as much attention as possible. In order to stop serial killers, we have to understand what makes them kill, why do they enjoy the kill, and why don’t they feel an emotional attachment to their victims. By decreasing bullying, child abuse, parental ignorance, and self-hatred, we have a better chance at not only saving the lives of innocents, but of those who kill as
This needs to stop and people need to start changing their attitudes towards the youth. Such stigmas being given out at these young ages can destroy a future. Juveniles, especially of color, are a lot of the time arrested for non-violent crimes, and when they come out of the system they are most likely given a probation officer and all of a sudden they are known as “criminals”. But, I see this as a second chance… avoid the jail time, learn from the mistake, and get straightened out because the crime was not severe and this shouldn’t define you. They were deviants, not criminals.
Unit 12 2.1explain how individuals experience discrimination due to misinformation The attitudes people have towards those of us with mental health problems mean it is harder for them to work, make friends and in short, live a normal life. -People become isolated -They are excluded from everyday activities -It is harder to get or keep a job -People can be reluctant to seek help, which makes recovery slower and more difficult -Their physical health is affected. This is because society in general has stereotyped views about mental illness and how it affects people. Many people believe that people with mental ill health are violent and dangerous, when in fact they are more at risk of being attacked or harming themselves than harming other people.
and may have some potentially long term effects such as increasing the misbehavior, aggression, violent or criminal behavior, impaired learning, depression, and in worst case suicide. The items that are cited here are very alarming and they express the concern that spanking is more than just a punishment. As said before spanking "is the least effective way to discipline" a child for two reasons; both reasons teach the child nothing about the difference between right and wrong. The first fact is that spanking confuses the child. The reason that spanking confuses them is simply this; parents are the example of the difference between right and wrong and all spanking is doing is telling the child is that every time somebody does something wrong they should be smacked for the mistake they made.
The author tried to convince the parent as well as the experts that being a teenager can’t be an excuse for committing sexting by using the logic strategy, “ But this is something that just cannot be dismissed as kids ‘ doing stupid things.’.”, And he or she was trying to convince the audience that the authorities don’t consider these teens a criminals, but they just want to put an end to this “dangerous new trend” as he or she used the ethos strategy, ”Authorities aren’t convicting children, but using the law as teaching tool and trying to put stop to a toxic new trend.” . The author used a pathos appeal when talking to the oppose experts by mentioning the sad story of Jessie’s subside, “ Bertani must not have heard of the Cincinnati suicide.” ; Also he or she used a logos appeal to convince the experts that this “dangerous new trend” is not a private issue and it is also due to the irresponsibility of the parent to their teens: “ The civil libertarians may wish to consider their position. They claimed it is a private matter best resolved by parental responsibility. Would it follow that their parental irresponsibility should make the parent the legally liable
The Four Cruelties 1. The extended moral of these four engravings is that if society allows cruel behaviour amongst young children to go unchecked, then when they become adults they see cruelty as a natural part of everyday life leading to criminal acts against that same society. 2. Nero’s name may have been inspired: a) By the homonymous Roman Emperor Nero who is known for many executions, including that of his mother, and the probable murder by poison of his stepbrother. b) Or a Contraction of “No Hero”, somebody that is vicious and evil.
America’s war on drugs can be won and drugs can be eliminated forever. People have to be cautious and not talk to shady strangers because they might be trying to sell you something illegal. People can avoid drugs and sorts of illegal things by becoming more knowledgeable on the subject. The law enforcement, anti-drug groups, or anybody can help eliminate by raising more awareness. They should spread the word and tell people taking drugs is against the law or that drugs are bad for your health or even that drugs can make you go bankrupt.
Another thing reporters say is that cops are doing all they should be to help. “ As much as the people would like to believe police are interested in cracking down on individuals and companies” (Thomas). By saying this it shows hoe the cops are trying to stop people selling alcohol to underage kids. Also cops are trying to stop companies from advertising to kids and distributing alcohol to them. Another point researchers bring up is saying punishing kids by law makes more people think before drinking and driving.
I have seen drugs ruin people’s lives and tear apart their family, there is no doubt that anyone should be doing drugs, let alone kids. The zero tolerance policy is no good for kids, we need to have a different way of going about punishment. Is a zero tolerance policy absolutely necessary? Zero tolerance policy is needed for controlling drugs, but there are negative effects of this policy. If caught with drugs at school students are faced with big trouble, such as, suspension
