It will control the drugs that is being passed to them to try, if we quit interfering with the law and let them do what is right, many law enforcement tried a curfew for the teens but the parents interfere, and things went back to the way they were. Parents today are blaming others for their child being on drugs. For many years we have been fighting drugs. We may be too late for the drug trafficking but; we are not too late to keep it from our future generation (our children). We must educate our kids on drugs and how drugs can affect their life.
Drug testing of high school athletes has a negative impact on the classrooms, it punishes innocent students, and it can sometimes be completely useless when students know how to outsmart the test. Therefore in summary, drug testing penalizes student athletes more than it helps them. Drug testing of high school athletes has a
Punishing bullies by going to jail is an effective way to ameliorate school violence. Schoolyard bullies who are at least thirteen years old should go to jail because victims should have guarantee of security, threat of jail can scare bullies, and jail punishment can teach bullies to take responsibility for their behaviors. Schoolyard bullies ought to go to jail since victims should be safe at school. Schools are supposed be a “safety island” for students. However, today, because of school violence, schools have become one of the reasons that students not go to school.
A lot of Americans believe that Legalization of Drugs is the solution of the Drug Problem. But most Americans believe drug legalization as an invitation to drug-infested society. I believe they would be less in number than those actually "pushed" into drugs in our schools and streets by the drug-dealers, whose only lucrative business is to push people into drugs and to exploit them. These drug-dealers are totally opposed to the legalization of drugs, and it is a good sign for making them legal. Even with drugs legalized most Americans would not inject cocaine or heroine in their veins even if given the chance to do so legally.
Turley argued that violent toys offer advantages because they aid children in channelling their aggression and seen as a valuable vehicle to process violence. However he failed to address how this could help convince zero-tolerance parents who viewed violent toys as an encouragement of aggressive behaviours and violent attitude. Despite putting in reasonable effort in his claim of having a healthy dose of violence, the result would as undesirable if violence had been misinterpreted or mishandled such as in the case of the 1999 Columbine High School shootings. Turley should therefore be educating parents on guiding their children when playing with such violent toys and not exposing to children directly. While Turley provides sufficient amount of evidence from various professionals, the essence of the author’s original argument that violent toys should be seen as beneficial was lost in the midst of quoting the many opinions and research of other individuals.
Low self-esteem is one of the things that would affect you you start to not believe in yourself etc. Would you be happy to hit your own parents? When you take this drug, it goes inside your body and ruins your inner organs for example it burns/damages your lungs. Not only inner organs but also effects on the outside like rotten teeth and also this drug can have an effect on your sex drive. What all these athletes are overlooking is the serious harm that it can do to your body, inside and out. In order to prevent people from inflicting harm on themselves, we need to implement random drug tests from high school and up, all year round. We need to make sure the punishment for using steroids is severe and unforgiving. And we need to educate our athletes about steroids and not just the positives that result from it, but the overbearing negatives that outweigh it. If we can do this, we will be protecting our sports, but most importantly we will be protecting our
Unsuspecting parents may be unaware of drug use in their children. I’m trying to find out ways to help reduce usage and abuse against teenagers and young adult to help better the younger generation and make them a strong minded human being. Reducing this can benefit the society in major ways because most of the younger adults who drop out of school are related to illicit drug usages and abuse. I. “Young people and drugs abuse”.
It is something to get their angry out on each other showing how they are not listening to one another, and not getting anywhere as the rioters felt unfairness and empowered by the police. The majority of people involved in the riots were young people. Young people are their behaviours all their own fault? This makes the media question if parents are to blame for the bad behaviour of their children not teaching them right from wrong. This seems to say that what these people were doing in the riots were right.
Providing public high school students with condoms will help reduce teen pregnancy rates and help control the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. Sex before marriage has always been thought of being morally wrong by our society. Most parents hope that it is not their children having pre-marital sex, but the truth is, most teenagers are having sex and it can’t be ignored anymore. Teenagers often do not talk with their parents about sex, because they may feel to embarrassed. This embarrassment makes getting condoms for themselves a very difficult task.
