Despite protest by majority of the country the German government agreed to sign the treaty on 28 June 1919. This has really been the worst possible start for the Weimar Republic. The country had already been demoralized due to the war loss and the country is thrown into even more disarray by the signing of this treaty. There was a hatred of the treaty and it cut across all classes in Germany. The treaty created a history of bitterness in German Society.
The Lutheran Princes felt it necessary to create the Protestant Union and in retaliation the Catholics formed to Catholic League. They agreed that neither of them should make a religious or territorial move. Protestant Churches were closed my Ferdinand of Styria, which caused the first outbreak of violence in 1617. Europe began to struggle through inflation. This was because the war had been fought on German soil, causing them to lose money in agriculture; also the trade routes had shifted.
Through out the war many Americans were in an inadequate zone. One of the biggest impact during WWI was public attitudes. Such as Anti- German Hysteria, which caused Germans to be hated. Many Germans were discriminated and were not let to perform in Orchestras, for example music from Beethoven
The events of 9/11 have created hatred, fear, discrimination and Americans have begun racial profiling because of the Arabs who participated in the attacks. Arabs in America are no longer treated as normal American citizens because many stereotype them to be just like those terrorists who attacked America. The hatred for Arabs began immediately after America became aware of who participated in the attacks. Even a year after the attacks, the Justice Department was still aiming their attention on those from the Middle East and South Asia. As if being interrogated isn’t bad enough, they were also incarcerated and deported for just being their skin color.
This angered the German public as they thought that the government’s plan would just make living harder if they did increase the taxes. Taking advantage of this, Hitler told the public that the reparations and the Treaty of Versailles was to blame for Germany’s hardship. When America recalled all the loans that they gave Germany, Germany was left in immense debts. This proved Hitler’s point that the reparations and the Treaty of Versailles were wrong. After that the people of Germany began to vote for Hitler because the Weimar government had proved itself useless and Hitler was the only one offering a way out.
Racism is everywhere. Racism groups that were very rampant in the 1950’s, such as the Ku Klux Klan, and the Neo Nazi Group still exist today, but may not be as widespread as they were back then. People discriminated against colored people to the extent that they started to kill them, sometimes by hanging, sometimes by other atrocious methods. In the southern U.S.A. they lynched colored people for no apparent reason. The more common form of racism today is religious racism, such as the Muslims killing as many Jews and Christians as they can.
First all, the war guilt was seen extremely harsh by the Germans, and it was; they had to admit they had caused the war, while in fact Germany got dragged in because of its alliances., Germany had to pay £6600 million for the damage caused and Germanys economy wasn’t so good at the moment so that definitely was devastating for them. Furthermore, not only reparations had sunk Germany’s economy, but the other clauses such as the loss of colonies and trade, contributed to make the situation worse. In addition, Germany could not develop its military and naval forces. This had very big consequences for its government. People went on strike, and as they failed to pay reparations hyperinflation was caused.
For those who don’t know, a sanction is basically a threatened penalty for disobeying or abiding the law. Because of this awful debt that Germany and most of its population were in, the German community as a whole was in a very panicked and stressed mindset. We all desperately needed leadership from somebody who would stray our country down a brighter path. Everybody believed that their hopes and prayers had been answered when Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party took over. That is everyone except for Jewish people.

Some European Countries, especially Germany were staging a genocide of an entire ethnicity. At the helm of all these horrific actions was a man named Adolph Hitler. He still could not get over the mortifying truth behind the World War I. He tried so desparately to create a total blonde-haired, blue eyed poplation and anyone who wasn’t of that demographic was to be executed.
However, one of the displeasing fact that happened after accepting the refugees was that the vast majority of sexual offenses were committed by men who were the majority of recent refugees arriving in Germany. ("Refugees Responsible for Tiny Proportion of Sex Crimes in Germany despite Far-right Claims following Cologne Attacks." ) To add on, cultural differences are also one of the factors why countries are unwilling to receive refugees. Due to all of the terror arising in Islamic states, many individuals and countries were starting to get the Islamophobia. Due to Islamophobia, some of the cultures has been banned in certain countries.
