Based on the descriptions in the text, where do you see yourself on the Kolb Inventory of Learning Styles? I see myself as having Active experimentation ability first and then my next ability is Concrete experience. The reason I believe this is because I have always been quick to move from an idea to than applying that idea into action, and I’m pretty good at learning from other people thru their mistakes and success. After reading about the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, determine which personality is most like you, such as ENTJ. Based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator my personality is STJI. I have always been for the facts and if someone tells me something that I don’t believe I will always ask them to show me the facts. I’m definitely a thinking person because I can reason my way into anything. Plans are something I live by and I try to control everything I can and once I have that plan I hate to change them. I have always been a quit person that only speaks when necessary and I like to think things thru before taking action. Here are my Results for the VARK and Multiple Intelligence Inventory learning assessments. For the VARK system I scored 6R’s, 5A’s, 4V’s, and 3K’s. For the Multiple Intelligence Inventory I scored 9 points for Logical/Mathematical, 7 points for interpersonal and Visual/Spatial, and 5 points for Verbal/Linguistic, Musical/Rhythmic, Intrapersonal, Bodily/Kinesthetic, and Naturalist. The similarities that I see between these two are, being a visual learner came up as my second strength for both of the systems’, and Kinesthetic both came up last. The learning strategy that was the most effective for me was the Multiple Intelligence Inventory. This one really broke everything down for me and showed me the meaning behind each one of the styles.
