Joseph Arnet 12/3/09 Mr. Jerla Lab 4 Hazardous Location Lab In this hazardous location lab I was required to install conduit raceways that will fallow all NEC codes and regulations in a class 1 division 1 location. I was given an explosion proof panel and fluorescent light fixture and also a HID light. The concept of this lab is to come out of the explosion proof panel into a junction box which then feeds a selector switch and a hard wired receptacle and a second junction box. The second junction box then feeds the HID light and the fluorescent light fixture. The hard wired receptacle is wired on its own separate circuit and has a constant 120VAC potential across it unless someone turns of the breaker for it located
