Not only that, but Matthews goes about explaining what one must do in order to become successful if one chooses to enter politics. The books main purpose serves to help newcomers to politics or even veterans to better prepare themselves for all of the dirty, clever, and above all, brilliant tricks that politicians use to gain an upper hand in one of the dirtiest “games” around. What interests a reader about this book is how Matthews is able to make a dull topic such as politics interesting and somewhat captivating. He uses well known figures that have been engraved in the minds of people such as Roosevelt, Kennedy, Carter, Reagan, and others to help capture the attention of the

* Makes control of people easier, as they will be more like to support the Party if they think the party has brought positive changes. This Party slogan gives an insight into the technique used by the government of manipulating history, and in some cases using completely made up history, in order to keep control of the people. This is because having control of the past allows the government to have control of the future. This is because the future is a direct consequence of the past, and the outcome will be in direct relation to what has happened in the past. So, when the Party portrays the past a hellish world full of poverty, destruction and slavery - the people will begin to believed the Party has rescued them from this, especially when the party feeds them more lies about all the things they have done to help the people.
They also bring up the issue of the deceit and lies the network tells, seeing as their motto is that they are “Fair and balanced” and they are anything but. Outfoxed shows this using video footage of an anonymous caller to show how he was blackmailed, and the use of repetition of the lines “Fair and balanced” whenever they reported on only one side of the story. This furthers the idea that Fox are deceitful. The film Outfoxed shows these issues in a way which makes the audience feel hurt and deceived by the Fox news network. While this is being said, it also causes to audience to question the reliability of the film as they to are doing the same thing that they are reprimanding Fox about.
This would shrink the illegal population and life for American workers would improve. Mark Krikorian is the executive director for The Center of Immigration Services and supports The Federation for American Immigration Reform who is a national, non-profit organization who share a common belief that our nation’s immigration policies must be reformed. Even though amnesty is thought to be the solution to cure our illegal population, we need to shape and enforce immigration laws. Nathan Thornburgh comments in his article “The Case for Amnesty” that he feels amnesty would be a good thing for America and gives five main reasons to support his findings. Thornburgh believes Amnesty can work politically, amnesty will not depress wages-globalization has already done that, Amnesty will not undermine the rule of law, Amnesty will not necessarily add to the social-services burden and Amnesty doesn’t have to spawn even more illegal immigration.
Being a war-opponent and social activist, Howard Zinn’s most likely intention in writing “Unsung Heroes” was to educate people about the mistakes (and deliberate lies) that are, in his opinion, very common in the perception of American history. Also, he likely wanted to direct attention towards the un-credited but “true” heroes who may not be shining enough to fit the common definition of a hero, but who have made meaningful contributions and therefore deserve to be remembered. In any case, they are people who are not responsible for killings of native Americans or the suppressing of minorities. Despite the popularity of Zinn’s views and of “A Peoples History of the United States”, there is an opinion that Zinn is overly pessimistic in his interpretation of the past. Further, some people complain, as he states himself, that they feel “thoroughly alienated and depressed” after reading the book.
EDWARD SNOWDEN TRAITOR OR HERO Regarding the Edward Snowden case there is a an very interesting ethical problem. Just to give us a bit of background context ; Edward Snowden was an employee of the CIA and NSA, who revealed details of several monitoring programs and American mass britanniques. For some peolpe he was considered like a hero because he has brought to light confidential information that deserves to be in the public domain and for other a villainous traitor because those put in danger his country, it is important to ask whether his revelations comes under the ethical or the legal fact. Ethical : We know that most people would feel betrayed by Edward because he released personal information about them but it was in order to prove that the US Government is recording the communications of its citizens. But it is Ethic to help other isn’t it ?

When I was watching Romney’s debates, he was talking about “Obamacare” is not good idea and his one could be better, but I agreed to what Obama had to say and he had some strong moments, particularly when he criticized Romney's plan to turn Medicare into a voucher-like program and noted that "Romneycare" looks an awful lot like "Obamacare." I agree with the President Obama that he's not only thinking about now he is thinking about future. Us students who need good teachers and good technology - without these things we cannot succeed. People should remember what reality is and think practically. They just cannot come and tell that they will cut taxes and provide cheap healthcare programme for
