One effective method for me is playing music while writing essays for English. I have found that this type of music is a fantastic way to become inspired and it aids in intellectual development. As a musician I have always gone to music when I am lacking inspiration and it has never failed me. Whenever I have an essay to write for English, the first thing I do is start up my music. Writing is not a challenging task for me but it does demand a certain imaginative spark that I find in music.
It is very important to have good imagery in poems. Maya Angelou uses a variety of imagery to support her story in the poem, "Caged Bird". It allows the reader to paint pictures and connect the poem to his or her life. ATTITUDE: The tone of this poem is very calm but powerful. Every time she mentions something about the caged bird being free it really paints a picture on how she wants it.
The plot revolves around them and what happens to them. I believe that a story without characters is like the earth without humans; it would be incomplete! I don't think it's necessary to like the character, but more so important to at least be able to identify with the character. An interesting character should have at least one flaw or weakness, perfect characters don't draw in my attention as well. In the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper", the author, Charlotte Perkins, does an excellent job of painting a picture of the main character.
His “slicing emotional realism” set him apart from most. Diaz found away to connect with readers through his lucid but yet funny writing style. This source connects and ties directly into what I had described before with Diaz and his detailed writing style. I had mentioned how he was very descriptive and used imagery to get messages across to the reader. Almost like he is creating a movie with words, Diaz paints a picture for his readers with every sentence.
Her reviews would take shape only after she gave herself permission to write a terrible first draft. Lamott’s intended audience is anyone who wants to write, either for class or simply for leisure. Hence, her audience is quite wide and I applaud her for using simple language, without resorting to complex jargons, in making her point. The purpose of her essay is to change the dynamics of writing. Often to amateur writers, the process of writing seems like a chore; a mountain of words to sieve through before they can create a comprehensible wall of text.
Whether he was using collage techniques, fusing, clippings from a magazine or a stroke of a brush he created powerful art that will be in minds forever. His visual recollections of the south drawn from real-life memories and stories are anything but usual. His painting “The Family” (1941) demonstrates Bearden’s love for the Cubist style and through this he addresses family’s complex relationships and rituals that were able to tie into my own real-life experiences. Romare Bearden demonstrates that you can take something simple and turn it into something beautiful and meaningful, and that is something he will always be remembered for. The painting, “The Family” can be easily be defined as a
“As a creature of habit, my art is where I find my spontaneity. I take a reactive process by allowing the medium to do the 'talking': I splatter paint around aimlessly then later paint the images I see in the random composition, as if viewing a rorschach inkblot test. My work is heavily driven by emotion, the things I've read, heard, or experienced, and what it means to be human. I am constantly on a search to find a happy medium: between the
These words are also very encouraging and eye-opening to me because I used to think the emotions described were a sign that I was not truly a writer. It is refreshing and comforting to know that even a successful novelist such as Waters experiences the doubt, fear, and strain that I feel when writing. This statement discredits the idea that writing is always fun and free-flowing. I feel like I can now, after reading this, write with a little more confidence because I know there are others out there—groaning, wondering, and panicking—just like
If I remember correctly they use pencil, charcoal, watercolor, ink & if I’m not mistaken a few other things. Looking at the drawings allowed me to realize that a lot of people express their thought in many different ways. When drawing to me you can almost tell what their emotion was like when they were drawing it. My second favorite exhibition was By Native Hands. I grew up with a mom who for some reason loves
Your grateful strength and grateful weakness Do you know what is your grateful strength and grateful weakness?I think the grateful strength are the things you like to do and you usual to do, and the grateful weakness are the things that you don’t like to do and you doesn’t usual to do. In this short essay I'm going to write about what are the two things that I’m grateful strength to and what are the thing that I’m grateful weakness to. The first thing that I think I’m grateful strength is art , because I like to draw and design clothes and somethings else that still connect to art. When I was 5 years old my mother take me to the art class to have a extra class once a week , I still remember that I’m the one who want my mother to take me to the class because I really like draw and last 2 years ago when I’m still in my old school I use to be in the school art team , every day I need to go to practice art in the art room and then when other people still having class I need to go to others school for every art contest, so every time I have something sad or happy I will draw. The second thing that I think I’m grateful strength is music , because I like to listen and play the music by piano but I’m not that good in piano.
