Texting while driving is irresponsible and extremely dangerous, not only to the driver texting, but to everyone close by. It only takes a second for a disaster to occur on the highways, and texting takes the driver's attention off the road for more than a second. Texting or calling while driving has the potential to cause a serious car accident that can have fatal results. Speaking on a cell phone is already illegal in many states. Texting while driving is even more dangerous.
The Loss of loved ones; loss of important family members and loss of friends resulting from irresponsible drunk drivers on the road are tragic and permanent. Drunk driving is like playing with fire because most of the time, the drunk drivers think they are suitable for driving. Unfortunately, the liquor already affects their minds, they do not care about themselves and other people’s lives, and that is not only selfish but a deadly combination. You have no right to let anyone else suffer from the consequence of your action especially innocent bystanders and their loved ones. One of the biggest causes of drunk driving is the person who hasn’t adequately prepared for the situation.
This helps to stop accidents because it removes distractions from a p-plate driver so they can focus solely on driving. Another danger P-plate drivers face while on the roads is their driving speed. If a driver is going too fast, they are not able to stop fast enough or pay enough attention while driving, which can cause accidents. The current p-plate laws are effective in reducing accidents through a drivers speed by introducing laws which limit p-plate drivers to the speed of 90km/h, as well as not allowing p-plate drivers to drive turbo or supercharged engines or have modifications in their engines. These p-plate laws are affective in reducing accidents on the road, because they reduce p-plate drivers to a low speed as well as slow cars.
People might not think anything by it when they are doing it and they don’t realize all the permanent damage they can cause. Overall no one should text while driving. Texting while driving can be deadly dangerous. It can be because when you are texting your eyes are off the road and not paying complete attention to what’s going on around you. You can run red lights or as simple as swerving off to the side into another vehicle.
The last reason would be that that with this choice more people would rather stay sober while behind the wheel rather than let everyone know about it. The first reason I think that drivers who have had a DWI should be acquired a specialized plate is that so people who are safe drivers, be aware of does who chose to drink and drive. Drunk drivers that have done it one, have a high chance of doing it again. For example when you are driving and you pass by another vehicle that has license plates that show you that the person had received a DWI, you would probably keep a distance because you don’t what to take any risks. Another reason I think that drivers who have had a DWI must be acquired a specialized plate is that there would not be as many wrecks as before.
The language “Killer Cars” and “Death machines” suggests that the car itself is more responsible of death than the person driving it therefore positioning the readers to consider the safety of their own cars. The consistent use of generalisations; “4WD owners take more risk because they feel safer” and “...city owners of 4WD owners are less community minded and less charitable than other drivers” with the accompanying visual positions the readers to think of times when they have been disrespected by 4WD owners and as a result instils a sense of resentment as small car owners in juxtaposition with large car owners are interpreted to be powerless and thus are ignored. Not only does Masters blame 4WD owners of causing deaths but also attempts to evoke concern in the audience and raises issues in the misuse of 4WDs. The case study of a young girls death, clearly dismisses the issue of 4WDs being a hazard to society, rather than relying on statistics alone. The fact that the incident occurred at a school raises concern in the audience of motorists, in
My first time driving I learned soon that you need to speed. Everyone speeds and if you don’t speed you get honked at. If you follow the speed limit then you’re looked at weird by people and you get cursed at, because you’re not speeding. So many people speed that it’s socially okay for people to do it. It is not okay if everyone starts to speed then there will be more accidents.
Texting while driving has become a major cause of accidents, especially among young drivers. When texting, you are too focused on your conversation instead of the road. This not only puts the driver of the vehicle is harms way; it creates an unsafe environment for all those in and around the automobile. Is a text message really that important? I highly believe that texting while driving should be illegal.
There are a lot of problems with this law. It causes problems for car makers, it causes problems for motorists and it exploits the general public out of their own hard earned money. Either way everyone loses. While the law itself is reasonable
Weak people are not to be feared, but to be pitied. Their weakness comes in many forms and includes feelings of inadequacy and incompetence. They try to get others to do what they believe they cannot do. They try to compensate for their feelings of powerlessness by gaining power over others. People like this don't care which way the car is going as long as they remain in the driver's seat.
