It affects the lives of people making minimum wage and also small business owners. It affects the employees because the cost of living continues to rise and minimum wage doesn’t. Small business are affected because raising minimum wage would mean they would have to hire less employees and raise the prices on the company’s products. Raising minimum wage would the minimum wage employees still dealing with the effects of the recession. Minimum wage employees live a tough life image only making minimum wage raising three children while also being a single mom or dad, those are very hard conditions to live through. How would you make it? How would you be able to support your children and be able to pay the rent, or mortgage payments? How would you make it on a day to day base’s it would be one of the hardest things that you’ve ever done but yourself in the shoes of a minimum wage employee. Making a living below the poverty level doesn’t make the person lazy you or mean that they do not care it simply means that they are doing what they have to do. In some places job demand is extremely high making it very hard to even get a job let alone a job that’s not paying minimum wage. The increase of minimum would help the economy by generating more money in to the society, boosting the economy, and eliminating the demand for jobs. Raising minimum wage will have a great and long lasting ending. The United States would see a flow of money that they haven’t seen in years. This flow of money would show immediately giving the consumers more money to spend since 78 percent of the working force are minimum wage employees. Business owners will appreciate more money being spent in their fast food restaurants, grocery stores and clothing stores etc. The change in the society would be a great start at a better place to be. With president Obamas 10.10 solution we would be able to but more money in to a lot of places that have problems in economy like schools, banks, churches, outreach programs, homeless shelters etc. Please join in and take a stand to support minimum wage
