“Education is all a matter of building bridges.” The quote by Ralph Ellison stated that education is really important as it can helps people to get a good future life. Reasons for people to attend college or university are enormous and depend on one’s attitudes. Often, for most people, attending college is the gate to career opportunities, to increases their knowledge and gain essential skills that prepare them for future life. Higher education cans open doors to career opportunities for people. Most people want to pursue not just a job, but a career with high pay and can be beneficial in the long run. Now, most company are requires applicators to have college level training and skills development. So people will likely have highly chances to get a job of their choice if they have certificate, diploma, or degree in college and they also can earn higher job positions. For example, if a person want be a doctor or lawyer, they have to attend university for 8 to 10 years, but it worth because they get the higher income and there are more opportunities open for them. Compare to a person who only graduate from high school, they will get a job for sure, but that job is not really beneficial their life in long term.
