Problems That Immigrants Faces Introduction Immigrant means a person who migrates to another country, usually for permanent residence. Moving is not an easy thing to do. A person has to leave all of his or her friends and family behind. Challenges Immigrants Face By Cathy Pearl. A lot of times, a family will move because an adult has a new job. It is a stressful but an exciting time, too. Now imagine you are moving to a new country. Sometimes this country you move to it is a completely different country from your original country. You don't know anyone there. No one in your family speaks the language well. When you get there, your parents will have to find a house, jobs, and learn to survive in what seems like a different world. For some reasons that Immigrants are sure that the things is better in this country than their original country. In the United States many Immigrants come to find jobs, or looking for their safety because Untied States allow people that they live in dangerous situations for example war to come to the United States and start new safe life as Immigrants. Also Immigrants come to find work. There are many jobs in this country. Even in recession time the opportunity to find job for immigrants ten times bigger than Immigrants original country. Like unemployment rate in the United States for may 2012 is 8.2% but in Iraq is 25% (BBCnews.com), and that’s mean its almost impossible to find new job in Iraq because there are plenty of people for Job in this period of time. But immigrants who don't speak English have a hard time doing many of them. Instead, they have to take jobs that don't pay as much money. This makes it very difficult for them to afford many of the things in this country that they hoped to
