I have to be able to make sure that I set aside enough time to do my schoolwork. Having a wife and children and also having a full time job with a lot of overtime, and which I drive to and from an hour every day can make it difficult to get my work done proficiently. Making sure that my wife does not get overloaded with the children is also a concern. I do not want the fact that I am attending school and work affect the duties that I have as a father and as a husband. I also want to make sure that they understand that I have to spend the time needed to get my work done as effectively as possible.
I plan to overcome this fear by making and sticking to a schedule, and reminding myself that everything doesn’t have to be perfect. I already have a work schedule planned that will allow me to attend class on Wednesdays, play softball on Thursdays, and get my 3 night shifts in. When I work the weekend, I will work to have my assignments completed early and ready to turn in. I

I will spend a set amount of time on each class certain days. On the days I do not schedule for classes, if I have free time, I can catch up on any assignment I need to. The way I am juggling school and family responsibilities will be to set aside time for school in the morning while my children are at school and my husband is at work. By doing so, I will have plenty of time for my family responsibilities in the afternoon and at night. When I get a job I will change my school time to after the kids have gone to bed, so it doesn’t interfere with my family time.
Anytime she finishes her work she will work on something that has not been completed for another class. She can not just finish her assignments and sit down she must be doing other work or doing something to keep her busy. She is different from most teenagers because in school when they have not completed a assignment they will just leave it incomplete. She would ask to take it home and complete it so that way she could have it done. She can't wait to go to her gym class everyday because she gets to move around and has things to do the whole time.
An encounter in where I realized the importance of time management was when I went to bed late on a school night and missed a whole class and lab. Academically, I was raised to never skip classes since education is the key to success. Since that encounter, I developed a consistent and organized schedule that is similar to the one we created in class for my daily activities and my homework assignments. Writing down your schedule whether it is for homework or extra-curricular, makes you well aware of how the next day will be and the importance a minute can make. I can say that my views on time management have completely changed 100% since there is nobody else in college to watch over you but yourself.
I also have a hard time managing my time during the day I always feel like there are not enough hours in the day. I would like to learn to stop procrastinating so and learn to be able to manage my time and be able to jump right in so to speak and do what need to be done during the time I have to do the tasks. Right now, I work full time forty hours a week but I work night from ten in the evening until six in the morning and then I go to school from eight until noon. So nine time out of ten I am tired after I get out of school so it is hard to concentrate and get my work done with enough time to get some sleep before I have to go to work again that night. It is also difficult for me to manage money right now because I do not make much at this point in my life so if I pay my bills I will not have money for myself which can get really frustrating when you can’t go to the store and buy something to drink or eat when you are want to eat.
Never did I enjoy staying after school just to fill up grades I never wanted to fail. I had to work twice as hard as all the other students because I really wanted to go on to the next grade. What motivated me to keep
Perez, Enrique English 1301.257 Caroline Mains March 30, 2014 A big part of one’s life may be attending school because that is what leads them to the career they wish to be in for the rest of their living. I have learned so much because of the challenges I have faced throughout my academic career. I have put up with crazy teachers, tough assignments, and my own uncertainty of things. To this day I am happy to say that I have gotten passed those things and will keep beating more problems to get to where I will be later in life. During my high school years, a big issue of mine was some of the teachers.
