Covering my ears at the hair-raising sound, I ran to the corner of my room, hiding within the engulfing terror. Suddenly, I felt two hands swooping me up. I look up to find my mother, blackened with soot with panic painted across her face.
In the beginning of the book, Lucinda was mean and stubborn. I did not like her one bit. She gave horrible gifts to all not just to Ella. For example, when a giant couple was getting married, Lucinda gave them a horrible gift. The giants could now never leave each other’s presence.
Supernatural Aid, when Mo meets Dustfingers for the second time he runs to his aunt’s home to hide, without knowing that dustfinger asked Capricorn to help him, so Nerone finds the Aunt’s house and goes to steal Mo‘s family to bring it to it’s castle so to make him read the black scado out of the book, and reveal that he wouldn’t help dustfinger. Then Mo explains the story to his daughter and his aunt. Dustfinger, Meggie and the aunt are going to help him throughout the story. Crosses the treshold, he gets to the fantasy castle of Capricon.
Loki’s Children Loki, the Norse god of mischief was the wickedest among the Aesir. Typically in Norse folklore Loki is shameless, however; he did possess a large secret that he was ashamed of. Unknown to the rest of the Aesir, Loki had a secret bride. His bride, Angrboda, was the “ugliest, fiercest, and most dreadful” giantess to ever wreak havoc in Norse mythology.¹ Though Angrboda alone was a massive blemish on the reputation of a member of the Aesir, Loki had an even deeper truth that he hid in the most confidentiality. The bride of Loki was more than a wife.
In the play, Euripides has described Medea as a woman who “wild with love”. Everyone can see easily that with Medea, the love with Jason is the most important to her as she could kill her own brother, betrayed her father and her country to help Jason get the Golden Fleece. “I willingly deceived my father; left my home; …” “You had already murdered your brother at his own hearth…” Because of Jason, Medea - from a princess – had to drift to another place which is not belonging to her. Her family, her friends will never forgive for that, Medea doesn’t even have the way to turn back to her home anymore. “My friends at home now hate me…” Medea even earned more enemies when helping Jason.

Due to no princesses wanting to marry him he kidnapped many of the most beautiful princesses on the land. He would put them through a series of test to see if they were worthy to marry him. If she was to fail he would kill her and put her body in the forbidden room. Many princesses were killed during this time. Toward the end of the princes’ years, one princess finally passed the test.

In the early parts of the story, when Edzi and Nani’s first child, Kofi, falls sick, it is attributed to the works of a wizard or witch tryin to suck the blood of the little boy. This belief is strengthened by the fetish priest who knows very well that the truth of the matter is far from what he would have the troubled mother and grandmother believe. He goes on to give the mother “a few simple rules to follow in other to preserve the life of her child.” Among these, he asks her to place a bowl of palm oil before each window so that “all witches and wizards travelling about at night, who might wish to take the life of the child, will drink the oil and besatisfied and so will not enter the room to drink the child’s blood. Even though we know this is not really the case, the grandmother, Dekpor, pays a huge sum of money to the priest because the society actually believes in the existence and works of witches and wizards. Again, when the child’s sickness reoccurs, we find his mother going through the town, beating a tin and shouting in a loud voice “you witches and wizards of this place, leave my child.
Zeus is the King of all gods. He married his own sister. Zeus’ grandma, Gaia, gave Zeus a special sickle to help kill the dragons. Then Zeus set off for the underworld, the dreadful land beneath the earth where the dead lived. The dragon Gaia told him about was terrible.
