Lights flash all over the place from carnival games that seem hopeless victory. Rollercoasters are probably my most favorite attractions because the joy of riding a rollercoaster never gets old. No matter how many times I have been on the ride, it always brings forth new excitements and thrills. The adventure is always new; my adrenaline rush keeps me going. Rollercoasters track are able to produce infinite number of option for the coaster to travel, where it can loop, twist and turn, or simply go in reverse.
I invest hundreds of hours a year into it, and every two years I get the opportunity to take a trip with my highschool marching band to somewhere special. I mean who wouldn't want to go to Disney World with dozens of your closest friends? I found out a few weeks ago that my family could not financially send my brother and I on this

After sitting in a van for 16 hours driving in the summer heat, my crew and I finally made it to Orlando, Florida. As we unload our luggage to enter our bright blue resort room in Disney World, I hear loud music and dancers practicing all over the place. I enter the room with my best friend and a surge of happiness and excitement suddenly rushes through our bodies. Kieran Garcia English Composition 1-Section B12 January 30 Cooper River Bridge Run Every April for the past seven years of my life I have taken part in one of the largest road races in the country, the Cooper River Bridge Run. Born in Charleston South Carolina this race is the home to roughly fifty thousand runners each year. This journey across the bridge is approximately six point three miles in length. Myself along with ten of my closest friends drop everything to make our way down to the humid, smoldering city of Charleston in an attempt conquer the challenges of the bridge that we have become so familiar with. I’ll never forget my first trip.
The ‘Thanks for the Memories’ exhibit is a memorabilia celebrating the last fifteen years, and fifty-three exhibits. ‘Thanks for the Memories’ begins with photos and illustrations of Maas Brothers and moves into the “blockbuster” exhibitions, and even the Cuban Missile Crisis. The most popular exhibit for the Florida International Museum was the Titanic exhibit in 1997 with an attendance of 830,019 people during its six-month existence at the museum. The Titanic exhibit wasn’t only the Florida International Museum’s most highly attended exhibit but it was the most highly attended exhibit in the United States for the proceeding three years. I remember taking a field trip to visit the Titanic exhibit while I was in elementary school.
Three nights a week my mom, sisters and I would attend rehearsals for our spring or winter production. I loved practicing for each production whether I was the lead or a member of the chorus. I knew all of my hard work would pay off when I stepped onto the stage at the Imperial Theatre and my stomach would fill with that familiar excitement. This theatre group and particularly my time spent

As individuals we have the opportunity of achieving our gold and silver awards, one of the highest awards given. I was 14 when Katrina hit, and taking action became my priority. My troop made a goal to donate anything we could to help those who that were affected, but I wanted to do more. I made hundreds of flyers and went door to door throughout my neighborhood handing them out asking for any donations they were willing to share.
