The One Child Policy Under the Chinese History In the early period after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chairman Mao believed that a strong nation should have a large population. However, with the development of society, China suffered many problems causing from the large population. The one-child policy was adopted in 1979, in response to the growing population. There is a number of reasons many American citizens and government officials feel threatened by China. If China ever successfully hacks into Americas data base systems,there would be a major economic downfall. But some also think that the threats are due to Americas weak cyber policy.

Prior to the Cultural Revolution of 1966-9, Mao’s personal power over China had been weakened due to the rise of several political opponents and the power struggle between the years 1962-5 which meant that the Cultural Revolution increased Mao’s personal power to a significant extent. However whilst Mao may of now had ultimate authority, this came at the expense of the increased militarism of China and in turn led to the increased power of both Lin Biao and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). There are other aspects that the Cultural Revolution had an impact in terms of power that allowed Mao’s own power to be strengthened including, the weakening of the Chinese Communist Party, the militarism of China and the power of the army it’s leader Lin Biao. It can be argued that the Cultural Revolution strengthened Mao’s personal power, because one of the main outcomes was the weakening of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their power.
Both beliefs originated due to the unrest in each of their societies. Confucius created his philosophy because of all the war happening in China. Similarly, Buddhism was created due to the injustice of the caste system that society created. Both religions revolved around the idea of respect/equality, and this had a major impact on their societies. Buddhism believed in the idea of equality which was slowly impacting how people viewed and participated in the caste system that was created by society.
