I. INTRODUCTION Automation plays an increasingly important role in the manufacturing systems, such as automotive industry. In order for automobile manufactures to handle the fast changing technology, they must have continuous improvement on their productions systems, and or assembly line having efficient and optimal automotive facilities Automation is the use of machines, control systems and information technologies to optimize productivity in the production of goods and delivery of services. It is also employed to improve quality and robustness of process or a product and reduces operation time. However, the precise application of automation must be an important management decision and must consider the great efficiency and flexibility automated machines or facilities. This case study the highlight latest automated solutions and applications of the Hyundai Translead Company in their automotive production. The management successfully opted for other forms of automation in their H Line and in the brief time has been applied to the other lines bin the plant. However, the Hyundai Translead has been concerned on how to eliminate some traditional material handling equipments such forklifts; increase discipline and cleanliness in the workplace and others. This study aims to analyze the company’s new automations in the assembly line and the necessary fixtures and equipment. Also it will give alternative solutions with regards on the problems faced by Hyundai and give the best possible strategy to achieve the firm’s goal. IV. POINT OF VIEW AND ANALYSIS ( USING SWOT) Today, the automotive industry landscape is changing. Emerging markets are forcing the management to rethink their strategic approach to manufacturing.
