Donnelley is a leading global provider of integrated communications for some of the largest corporations around the world. RR Donnelley's innovative technologies enhance digital and print communications to deliver integrated messages across multiple media to highly targeted audiences at optimal times for clients in virtually every private and public sector (RR Donnelley, 2014). A SWOTT analysis was conducted on the internal and external factors and trends of the company, as well as a supply chain analysis for the new proposed 3D division and business of R.R. Donnelley. Below are the findings that include strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and trends, along with the SWOTT Table. Strengths and Weakness Like every company R. R. Donnelly has strengths and weaknesses, it is just knowing the strengths and using them to build up the weaknesses. One of the biggest strengths of R. R. Donnelley is that they have been in business for 150 years. That alone shows that they have built long term relationships with suppliers, employees, and most of all customers. Throughout the years the company has adapted to changes in the economy, customer demand, customer changes, and technology. R.R. Donnelley is well known for their quality prints and customizing products specifically for each customer. The company also has over 700 patents that help set them apart from the competition, and keep them in the lead in the industry. Even though R. R. Donnelley has a lot of strengths they also have a few weaknesses. One of the weaknesses of the company is that they have a high volume of debt from new technology used for new products.
