Applying good ethical behavior is not only best for business decision, but also important for decision- making in all aspects of our daily lives. We were taught early in life the difference between telling the truth and telling a lie, and we were also now and then suffered the consequences of not telling the truth. In business, conducting business with good ethics can make all the difference between having a successful business or not. Applying a code of ethics in your business is like having a car filled with unlimited gasoline; good ethics can help a business avoid problems within and outside the business. In a workplace, you interact with so many different people from different backgrounds, ethnicity, and religions. You try to believe that the people you work with share the same moral and ethical principles like you. Unfortunately, this is not always true, and you will face situations where you find yourself questioning your loyalty, morals, and ethical principles. I have a very strict up bringing in a catholic home, where it was instilled in us by both mom and dad that comporting life adventure as truthful as we can will take us a long way. So I was very excited when I got my first job as a nurses Aid in a nursing home working the evening shift (3-11). I loved and enjoyed my job because it made me feel good inside that I was helping someone get back on their feet by teaching them how to take care of themselves. Being a nurse and taking care of people is very fulfilling job for me. Until two years ago, when an incident took place at work that tested my moral and ethical principles. When the problem took place I had being working at this place for four years, and had become friends with most of the other nursing aids.
