Entrepreneurial Leadership Yashiqua Jenkins Prof. Victoria Figiel BUS508 –Contemporary Business Strayer University October 28, 2012 An idea is all it takes to ignite the process to start a business. To find a need of the people for a particular product or service and expand on it in order to make a profit is what many entrepreneurs do to start their company. Small business. UNIT - P1 For my small organisation I have chosen Bromford chippy a local fish and chips shop. This business is a local business in the private sector open for profit. This organisation is in the secondary sector because it converts raw materials into selling products e.g. raw meat into products such as beef burger.
Businesses can cross over sectors for example McDonalds is in the primary, secondary and tertiary sector. McDonald’s primary sector is that they have their own farms to get beef from, their secondary sector is where they make the burgers and chips and their tertiary sector is where they sell their products as a service in their stores. Ownership: What are the five ownership structures we will be studying? • Sole Trader : A sole trader is a business which is owned by one individual who keeps all profit after expenses and tax. An example for a sole d trader would be a local newsagent.

One of the main ingredients in that is beef heart, a lot of people don’t know that, that’s one of the ingredients there. Then if you go to farther out Michigan, if you go for example to Saginaw and Bay City you’ll find Coney dogs that
