Decision – Making Process Paper March 8, 2015 XMGT/230 02/06/2015 Decision – Making Process Paper Life is about proper decision-making. Every single person in this world is faced with a difficult decision that has to be made. For me, I had to decide to leave my current job to work for another. Although many would say, if the pay is better, I should take the chance and make the job change. However, when deciding to leave a current job for another, there is more that plays into effect.
I wonder where my next journey takes me, how long I will last there and what will I see? I know a large amount of people dislike me but I am all they have ever known. Without me it would be like taking your last breath. I will prepare myself for this long journey, where ever it might bring me. I will always circle the world.

From my first breath of Pacific Northwest air until just recently, I felt as if I was on my own personal roller coaster, experiencing the excitement of meeting new people and despair when I missed home. I went through twists and loops as I struggled to open myself up to a whole new way of life. During this time, I clung to Martin Luther King Jr.’s words of wisdom, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward” (King 1). To make the transition from a big city girl with a small family to a small city girl with a big family I followed King’s advice and always kept moving forward.
Also strategies I used to overcome my obsticles. The end Returning to School 3 Returning to School While the decision to return back to school was a very difficult decision, I made it. I had so many things going on in my life at that time, that one more thing on my plate seemed nearly impossible. I had a lot of other things to conciderin making my decision. I had to make something of my life for not just myself, but for my family as well.

Procrastination Cause and Effect I’ll do it tomorrow. Maybe I’ll get to it the next day. Can’t I do it later? These phrases are the most common phrases one would hear from a procrastinator. Although the literal meaning of procrastination: “the act of procrastinating; putting off or delaying or deferring an action to a later time could encompass the notion that the person is putting off work to do other work, procrastination has manifested and integrated in common belief that procrastination is the act of not doing any work at all.
Starting my first job as a cashier can be a scary experience.One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do was communicate with the public.I was always afraid of my own voice, but I recognized communication was an important skill I should learn.I also thought that it would be a valuable change and help me become heavily free to communicating with the public.What I didn't realize was that communication can build confidence and open many door to careers. New situations always make me a bit concerned ,and my first job as a cashier was no exception. After counting my till, I stood safely at the bottom of the stock room stairs waiting for my coach to come down. A few minutes later my coach came over. She smiled and introduced herself, and the two of us walked to the front of the store where the cash registers are located.
Being able to attend college online, communicating with my long distance relatives and taking care of all my finances online are just a few ways technology has simplified my life. Technology has definitely changed the way students learn, how teachers teach and whether or not either one has to step foot into a classroom. In my case, getting into a classroom became almost impossible. My boss commutes back and forth from New York City every day. Most days she would come home on time, but it always seemed that, on days, she knew I had to get to class; she would either miss her train or take a later train home.

My biggest fear has been my anxiety and fear of failure. No matter where I would go or what I would do I had to overcome that anxiety just, so I could open that front door and go outside.
