Music can relax me, get me excited, make me happy, sad, or even angry. What’s the point in life if you can’t feel or experience anything? Music gives the world a feeling of togetherness, whether we know it or not. That’s one reason music is so important to me. There’s in need in everyone to feel connected, belong to something, and to me, music can fulfill that need.

The cause of my paper is music and the effect would be how people relate to it. The effects of how people take music is very large ranged but I think the in general reason for this effect would be because it allows people to feel things they want to. Music is a universal type of entertainment; even though different places in the world have different languages and music types they all have the same want for music. Music is quite often overlooked as an element that is “built-in” to the lives of people, as it is nearly always a present feature in the world today. Music contains all the power of words and speech, expressing ideas through a choice of language, yet possesses a twist - able to seep into the center of the human and change them. Physical words lose some amount of significance in the use of a song, as the melody, instruments, even a tone of a voice, are all factors having the power to nearly change the general meaning of words. A bitter poem of death could easily be shaped into a blissful tune with the use of a combination of elements put together in order to create an elevated mood. The song No Rain by Blind Melon is an example of a song that will surely put one in a good mood, while genuinely containing depressing lyrics.
Pandora the Explorer I love to listen to music in the car, when I am cleaning, when I am studying and even when I am going to sleep. Music is so diverse that anyone can find the right song for any occasion. I like to listen to rap, hip-hop, or top hits when I am in the car. When I clean, I like to listen to electronic dance music (EDM) in an effort to boost my energy to help me get the work done faster. However, when I study or sleep, I prefer to listen to classical music.

Is it because of the strong beat in rock? Or because it is easier for people to listen to? Or maybe because the rock text songs are shorter? Raw emotion flows not only from the musicians and fans but from the instruments themselves. That raw energy can come from many different things; peace, hate, love and so on.
